The “gentleman” Nate at the front guest gave me some of the worst possible customer service I have ever received. I called earlier in the day and I was told leagues end at 9:30 and I wouldn’t have an issue getting a lane after that time. I showed up at 9:40 and asked if I could have two lanes. There was 5 of us and I was hoping to get in as many games as possible, knowing that they close at 11. He flat out, told me no and would not look at me or make eye contact… he just kept repeating “no” over and over again as if I was single-handedly ruining his day. Eventually, he told me I need at least seven people to get 2 lanes. So I asked if I pay for seven people can we have two lanes? Finally, he said that that would be OK. I then paid for seven people and as my receipt is printing he proceeds to tell me he can no longer do that and said your on lane one. I looked down the alley and lanes 2-25 are occupied. As furious as I was I was over fighting and wasting time so I gave up trying to argue with rude employee who just proceeded to overcharge me and then negate what he had JUST told me. Heres the kicker! Lanes 30-50 were UNOCCUPIED THE ENTIRE TIME UNTIL CLOSE! Nate clearly hates friendship and I sincerely hope he stubs his toes every day until 2026. If your that miserable, go get a new job instead of treating customer like their an inconvenience to your life. The only reason I gave 2 stars its because out server Amber was immaculate and the only positive part of...
Read moreTook three children to bowl. They enjoyed very much. We ordered the bowling package that offered chicken and pizza with additional salads and fries. The chicken was extremely greasy with the batter being thin and a bit overdone. The inner chicken tasted ok but with each bite you had to wipe dripping grease from your face and hands. Pizza was ok. It had a lot of cheese with minimal sauce. Pepperoni was fine. Pizza was not a favorite but was edible. Fries were very good as well as the coleslaw. The salad didnt appear fresh. The children enjoyed a pitcher of lemonade. Bowling itself went well. Three games in 90 minutes. They do offer bumper rails for children and an assist mechanism for them to place ball on and it rolls off down the lane. Ideal for beginner. The balls were in good shape and there were 6 and 7 pound balls that enabled the children to bowl. Overall, it was a pleasant afternoon but I would not purchase the package again as it was about 70 plus tax not including the coffee/tea for the adults. I would return for the bowling but...
Read moreWent to the Rose Bowl yesterday with my day program and had a great time. I was hesitant to go because I am a power wheelchair user and didn’t know if I could even bowl at this point since I haven’t gone since I lost my ability to stand independently. For any wheelchair users wondering the accessibility like I was the Rose Bowl has ramps you can set the ball on to roll down if you can’t lift or throw it making it accessible to anyone who can push it a little bit to get it rolling. They have a ramp down to the bowling floor. The only criticism I have is there’s a 3 inch drop to where the tables are at which you wait for your turn so if you’re in a powerchair like me you have to sit up where the balls come back not with those who can walk which tbh could easily be fixed with a little bit of wood to create a tiny ramp (could even be removeable) for chairs to get back there which might be an idea for the owners. Checked the bathroom and it was accessible to me as well. All in all great day and hope I can go...
