I wanna talk honestly and friedly: I gave them 1 star review because I didn't try their food or the service but I had one food handling experience need to be known in general. The employee ( she ) was so nice for giving me the ice cream take away option. I asked for Ice cream for my 3 kids to take away, but (fortunately ), the kitchen door was opened so I saw the guy inside touching the ice cream with his bare hands, and put it in the cup. ( How about the other food menu preparing steps)!!!! I wanted to cancel my order, but I calmed down, took the ice cream, paid my receipt and asked my kids to stay outside for a minute and leave the restaurant. I spoke to her privately and told her: (Taking care of food and personal hygiene and wearing gloves is very important while serving food to customers ( Doesn't matter if it in Canada or elsewhere). I cannot oblige a person to wear gloves or wash their hands in their home, as they are free to do so. But, regarding serving and preparing food in restaurants for customers, we must follow hygiene and safety standards while dealing with food and its cleanliness before and during serving it to customers. I asked her to give me her opinion about allowing my kids to eat ice cream, and she replied yes, because she saw the young man inside washing his hands, and I am sure that he did not do that. I was waiting for one of the two things from her, either to return the money and cancel the order, or to exchange the ice cream, but she did not do any of that. She apologized and I appreciate it( I saw that with my eyes so she couldn't deny what I said). When I went out, I found my kids had started eating the ice cream, or they were almost done, because it was very hot day and they were thirsty. My point is the customers are trusting us so we have to be honest even if no one else is watching us. I wish all restaurant will follow the food handling process, hygiene and safety...
Read moreI recently dined at a restaurant with friends, and the experience was disappointing from the beginning. The establishment was empty, which initially suggested we’d receive quick service. However, this lack of customers soon made sense.
Even though we were the only ones there, we waited 40 minutes for the first dishes, and the rest took even longer. The rice was cold and bland, without any seasoning. Although the curry was hot and freshly made, the rice hadn’t been reheated, which was unacceptable.
After another 20 minutes without receiving the remainder of our order, we chose to cancel. The staff apologized and offered a refund, but we only paid for what we had eaten and then left. The service was slow, and the food quality was poor.
This place is only recommended if you have plenty of time and don’t mind mediocre to low-quality food. It’s not a fast-food restaurant, but the long wait and disappointing dishes made for an extremely...
