EDIT: The owner has reached out to me, in fact he did the day I posted this. I want to make it known the owner was wonderful to speak to. He felt terrible for the way I was treated. They did offer a free round of bowling should we choose to come back, and if we ever choose to try a birthday there again to contact him directly so he can take care of us. The apology from him was sincere and I truly donāt think this is how he runs his business but unfortunately the manager there at the time was very unprofessional. Will we go back Iām not sure but I do want to let those know the owner did rectify the issue and for that Iām going to update my rating because I think his customer service really did make that difference. The 3 stars is based off how the owner handled it because like I said, I think that really made all the difference. He really stepped up and did what he could to fix what went wrong, even though it was after the fact. That did mean a lot to me as a paying customer.
I Had my sons 7th birthday here recently. First and foremost we paid quite a bit. When we called to book the party we were informed of no information other then the the date and time and we were asked for food choice and I assumed pizza and pop. No prices were given as we were told we pay for who arrives. They charged gratuity with out informing us of this which truthfully the service did not deem a 13% tip. Next, the pizza was burnt and not enough to feed the kids, the pieces were small they were about the size of a half a normal piece but cut in half again. Going further, they had leagues there and the leagues were using our lanes and not moving or clearing out so our time didnāt start when it should have (keep in mind the party has a time limit and it was ending at 3:30) there were not enough shoes for our kids to be using so they gave them smaller ones which were hurting them so they didnāt want to wear them, or too big which is a safety issue and they wouldnāt allow the kids to use regular runners. We had asked for service for the lane and no one came so we had to loose time for that, we had a disrespectful waitress. We waited 15 minutes when we arrived to try and get everything settled as no one knew where we were suppose to go. That is just to name a few. When I called to speak to them about the issues I was totally disrespected by the manager who had twisted the whole issue and blamed me for anything he could. He was insisting that he had spoke to me previously (when he had not) as that was the first time I had called to speak to anyone after leaving the party on Sunday - leaving my name and number for someone to contact me which they didnāt at any point this week. I would highly recommend not going here for any of your bowling needs, or parties in the future. I am willing to change my rating or my review should the owners reach out to me and rectify this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs something different this year we decided to go bowling for New Yearās Eve with the kids and my nephews. The cost was $25/person for 2hrs 4pm-6pm. When I made reservations I asked if they could accommodate my nephew who has special needs and is in a wheelchair and they did giving us lanes 1 and 2. My issue was that the lanes were constantly getting stuck not once but six times so we spent half of the time waiting for maintenance than actually bowling. Not to mention as we bowled the guards would just come down on their own and player would lose the frame. I did go to the desk where Keaghan was the one in charge. Hopefully the owner reads this and if so you may want to teach the āI think I know it all teenagerā how to properly handle a customer complaint and his side kick with curly hair that we get off our phone and stand up when a customer is speaking to you. I politely said to Keaghan we have spent more time waiting for maintenance than actually playing will you compensate us. His response was no and are you not the one with the ā handicap ā. For starters a more polite to referring to any one with a disability would be āspecial needsā. And what does that matter I was complaining about the lanes not working. He proceeded to say āyou just want stuff for freeā. First off no and two had I not paid for the game then you have the right to say I wanted stuff for free. I paid for bowling and you didnāt provide the service cause again half the time was spent waiting for maintenance. He then proceeded to say fine I will give you one game. Really I spent $150 and you want to give one game and mention again āhandicapā gets a discount. If thatās the case then why not on New Yearās Eve it is no different. Needless to say very disappointed, rude customer service who think they know everything ⦠a waste of time and money. Talking to friends that were at the session before said they had same issue with lanes on opposite side ⦠š
On another note prior to New Yearās Eve I called to inquire about birthday party prices and the person who answered the phone said: ā I am far too busy to talk to you now call back another timeā again great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the workers came over and raised their voice at our wives and the kids who are 4 during a birthday party. He went down a few lanes and stared for about 5 minutes. I approached the guy and let him know we spoke to the kids and that they would stay where they're supposed to, to try to diffuse the situation and asked if there were any other issue to come talk to me and to avoid raising his voice infront of the kids. The guy got agitated and started acting uncalled for calling me a goof and got pretty aggressive going off. I walked away, he followed and came back and stared at us again for a good minute trying to intimidate us. Then he got confrontational with my wife i had to tell him to walk away several times as we had about 8 young children with us and I didnt want the situation to become physical. We spent just over 300 dollars in the time we were there and will never go back if your going to have a birthday there save yourself the money and the hassle and just go to rosebowl, never had a bad...
