Talize Thrift Store — Local services in Oshawa

I like this location but I do tend to shop at Whitby more. Love the staff there. This new manager tag special I don't like at all. My family and friends feel the same. I've also talked with customers while I'm shopping and they've all expressed the same. Everyone liked the 50% of certain depts There's hardly ever any of the color tag of what's on sale that day. I've actually been going to both locations less because of the new 50 n 30 percent off tag special. Feel like I'm wasting my time going there and not finding anything on sale. Hope you bring back the 50 percent off certain depts NOT tags I usually go every other day sometimes everyday. Not anymore But still love the Talize store.... staff and merchandise. As for the scabies n bug comment above apparently they've not gone to a Value village. That's a gross store feels like need a shower after I've been. Considering clothes aren't washed at any 2nd hand store she should go see doctor think something else up with her itch I've shopped 2nd hand for 30 years n have never had any problems with my purchase as soon as I get it home I wash it right away. Prices are low if stores tried to wash all the clothes cost too much and our prices be a lot...

Wandered in today, just happened to be the opening day. They had a large selection, for books I saw most of the popular series, Divergent, Harry Potter, The hunger games and Twilight, so if that's something you're looking for they have it, but the stock may not be so great in the future as this is the first day they're open. Lots of staff, friendly. I used to work at a Value Village and it's nice having a thrift store close to me. Prices can be high but they often are at these sorts of places. I work across the street so it's very convenient for me. I hope they offer coupons for donations like Value village does. Would be 5 stars from my one visit if they had a better deal on mens clothing, 10$ for one shirt is a bit much but still...

Just went the first day of opening and was honestly very surprised they not only had a massive floor space but everything was full. Full amount of books, entertainment, toys and tons of clothing.

Staff were on full display, tons of them working, organizing, helping out and all were polite. The store was very busy though as expected so it was a bit hard to maneuver around even with the good amount of organization and space between aisles.

Prices are good, stock was mostly good. A few things were maybe too expensive, damaged but it’s to be expected. Not a horrible first experience at all, hopefully...
