I went to Oshawarma last week for the first time because it had good reviews but was impossibly disappointed.
First off, the TV menus weren't turned on so I wasn't sure what to order and was being rushed to do so. Finally when I was able to have a look at the menu I asked for two mixed plates and asked for a Greek salad on the side. I was then asked by the lady serving me who I assume was the owner because she was being rude and pushy if I wanted chicken or beef on my salad I was surprised. I replied that no thanks I just want a regular simple Greek salad. The menu didnt mention anything about meet on a Greek salad. So I told her to hold off on the salad as it doesn't sound like what I want. I then went to grab my drink from the fridge to came back to find that she had stared on the salad. I saw that she started stuffing the salad box with lettuce to my surprise so I asked her is this a Greek salad? She said yes, I then said well can I just get a regular Greek salad, just tomatoes, cucumber, onions and olives she said no this IS a genuine Greek salad. At this point I just assumed you cant argue with her. She then asked if I wanted shawarma sauce on my salad I then said it's a Greek salad.... just put some Greek dressing on it (lemon juice, olive oil, oregano and feta) she said yes we have Italian dressing. I then said well that's Italian dressing not Greek salad dressing. Afterwards I told her please make sure u charge this as a salad as I don't want any meet on it.
Finally I payed for the bill and noticed I was only given the slip having only the total and not the bill with each items. So I want back and asked for the full receipt and was not surprised to find full charge for the salad including the meat.
At this point I told myself forget it's not worth it I'll just eat and leave. But when i opened my mixed meat plate and saw how little meat was actually given with my plate I was blown away.
Long story short this place is a joke, portions are so small and have horrible service and sticky tables. I honestly believe that these people do not value their customers and probably just get regular flow of client how have few places to go and end up there once a week out of limited choices.
One last thing to end this review, after I ordered my food the few people after me all mentioned to double the meat in there order.at the time I didnt think much of it but after I saw how little they give it made some sense. I think they probably do it on purpose so that people have to pay them even more then they should just to get a meal to meet basic standards.

Read moreI will never eat here again! I asked for 3 samosas and watched as only 2 were put in the bag. I said “excuse me can I get three samosas and held up 3 fingers”. I was told yes 3. I said you only put 2 in the bag. I was told ok I will make sure you have 3. After paying (for 3 samosas) I asked as my order was being packed “did you put 3 samosas in the bag?” My answer was “Yes don’t you remember I put a third one In the bag.” I said “No I don’t I only saw you put 2 in the bag.” So I was handed my food and told to have a good day. As I left I checked and there were only 2 samosas. This kind of over charge has happened many times. I have never seen someone too lazy to check an order that was in her hand but not too lazy to charge me for food not served. I turned back to say there are only 2 samosas in here. I don’t mind people making mistakes (I didn’t get jalapeños even though it was talked about three times) but I will not over pay to be disrespected like this ever again. An apology was not offered. I was told “If there are only two I will give you one more.” I said no I told you that there were only two and you insisted that there was 3. You can never get me another samosas, I will never come here again.” Everyone has bad days but this was not the first time something like this has happened here. This time I am done. I will drive further away for better service in the future. For me but definitely the last visit to this sub par eatery. ...
Read moreI have been supportive since this establishment opened. I supported the "little guy" during these hard times for the restaurant industry, but to be confronted in the parking lot and being accused of theft is the one and only strike I can give. It was a a little busy and I made a basic order. I paid for my food and during that time I was speaking to a first time customer behind me with his family giving praise for the quality of food. The gentleman who rang me through left the till to assist other customers. Once my order was ready. I left and the family behind me left as well. Once in my vehicle and leaving the parking lot. The woman who prepped my order came out and said I didn't pay. I said I did and it was the gentleman who rang me up. She looked confused and the gentleman came out and I pointed at him saying it was him who ran me through, she stated that the older women didn't process me. I said to the man did I not pay. He said yes. My interac receipt was still in the machine and the order that the family behind came out to 34 dollars and change. How could they process there bill without seeing mine that was either approved or not. Oh right I know what they saw.... I honestly didn't expect to be embarrassed like that. I don't go around looking for these situations in life, but I am hard-pressed to keep turning the other cheek. Especially since I have gone in dozens of times and put money in the register. I will not return, and Osmow's is coming...
