Shirin Market — Local services in Ottawa

Maybe, SHIRIN MARKET, I.M.O , has already seen it's "best before date" ! Based on their website pictures showing Mid East Buffet Food items I dropped by their store around noon time today . Surprise, surprise. I DID NOT FIND ANY HOME PREPARED FOOD ITEMS FOR SALE. When I asked the employee at the cash counter about this , he began a " long story about problems in their kitchen etc etc. When I tried to pin him down, as to when it will be available , he gave me a vague answer like "maybe next week" ! A word of caution to "would be customers ". Phone before going there, so as not to be disappointed ! DAMAS SUPERMARKET on Carling is a better choice !

P.S. I paid a second visit today Jan 25 (with my wife ) to purchase some items today . Same thing. No "in- house kitchen food items" were available . When asked, the same manager/ employee explained to me, that the pictures on the website "belonged" to the ex owner and they- the present owners - are therefore unable to delete the same from their website ! He further added that are no chances of such food dishes being available in the near future due to on going problems in their kitchen ! A simple response - by the owner/ manager - to my GOOGLE REVIEW would have easily solved this confusion !

P.P.S A quick perusal of the posted GOOGLE REVIEWS makes me to conclude that the owners/ managers are too "lazy" to respond to customer compliments or to customer complaints . And that to me is not a "nice way " to run a...

Shirin Market had its good days. The service is going downhill everytime I visit. The butcher at the shop is rude and unskilful. It wasn't like that until recently. The owner is a very nice and polite guy and so is the lady who cooks the buffet. The rest of the staff is a different story. As a result of their employees rude behaviour I have taken my business to Damas Supermarket on Carling. They have a lot more options and VERY skilful butchers who will cut the meat...
