TND video games is easily the number 1 spot in the Ottawa/Kanata/Carleton Place area to get your retro video game fix. They have the best selection in town, provide top customer service, are extremely knowledgeable and are extremely easy to talk to.

I have been a customer here since 2021 and they have been so great to me these past 3 years. Since my first visit, Dave, Joe and Frank have always helped me find what I am looking for, provided second to none customer service and made me feel so welcome in the retro gaming community.

I have had my fair share of bad retro game store experiences like many of my fellow retro gamers/collectors so it was a breath of fresh air when I came across TND's Facebook ads and gave them a shot.

I now go pretty much every weekend without fail and happily make the trip out to get my weekly fix of retro games.

They have an extremely fair return/exchange policy. Their pricing is extremely fair with some good deals as well! They also provide some of the best, most fair trade-in value I have ever seen in the entire North American game store space and are so easy to work with whether you are a buyer or a seller.

Another plus is just simply taking a couple minutes to chat with them. They have such extensive knowledge on video games and are always open to learning more as well. They will do whatever they can to help you find what you are looking for. It is nice to see that the owners love the gaming space and are as much a part of it as their customers.

They are also partnered with an excellent gaming repair service guy who does some of the best repairs you will ever see. He works many miracles and will do everything in his power to get a broken console or game working again. At this point, he has probably cleaned and repaired just about every console I own.

Really complete retro gaming store, covering most console generations with a large selection of games to browse. Nintendo and PlayStation games do cover most of the walls, but there is a very good number of games for the Genesis, Master System, Xbox and other consoles, including a stash of Game Gear lose cartridges. PlayStation Vita selection is thin, on the other hand. Price is good, both for rare and common games, a bit lower than eBay, which is very nice. While buying games I asked to open a Genesis Castlevania to check the board, and the staff was happy to do it, which is great for collectors who want to make sure where they put their money. Their prices are very fair and I’ve never had an item that was damaged or not working. Their customer service is second to none as I’ve had great experiences in person and they’re really good with all inquiries via FB Messenger.
