I give this place a three star for a few reasons. I’ve been there a couple times and had the younger sister do my feet and manicure she does a really good job ( except my favourite part of a manicure is the massage after and she slaps on lotion and barely takes a minute ) & talks your head off when all I wanna do is come there to relax. I get it she’s young and probably bored of doing the same thing every day! The last time I got shellac on my nails and went away and it lasted two weeks. Second time I went, a nail chipped two days later. I went back and the mother redid them ( really adore the mother and it helps that she doesn’t really speak English so she doesn’t talk). They said they were using a new product. She put one more coat on it, even though the older sister that seems to run the place with the short funky hair ( kind of full of herself and a pushy didn’t want the mother redoing all my nails, so she’s cheap too) but even after a fourth coat, two days later another nail chipper on the other hand, and now they’re peeling after a week. I couldn’t go back because we left the area. Obviously, this new product isn’t good or cheap or something, very disappointed customer to say the least. I have been a loyal patron of this salon since it opened, and I truly value the atmosphere they’ve created. There are days when I feel like chatting and others when I prefer a more serene experience. The wonderful team here is always accommodating, but like anyone, they can’t read minds. I communicate what I’m in the mood for each time, and they make sure my needs are met.

This is a family-run business, and it really shows in the way they treat their customers. You’re not just a client; you’re made to feel like part of the family. To call someone “pushy, cheap, and full of herself” is not only hurtful, but it’s also unfair to the dedicated professionals who make this salon such a vibrant and welcoming place.

There have been instances where the team has recommended a different technician for my nails, particularly when they felt someone with more experience was needed due to the intricacies of the design. That kind of care and attention to detail is what you should expect from a good salon, and I always appreciate their honesty in making sure I’m matched with the right person.

I’ve been going for two years, and I’ve seen everyone at different times. I note there is a review by Christie Karloff that gave a 3 star. This is someone who did not communicate her wishes clearly. If she wished to spend time in her head, she only has to let the technician know. How do I know this? Because there’s times I’m chatty and times I’m not. If you expect a part of your service to be more important than another such as a head massage, ask! I’ve asked for extra lotion, I’ve asked for haste….the staff here are super accommodating when you communicate. I love coming here, they allow me to be myself, be on my phone if needed, and work with me. This business cares about their service. Including the lady with the coloured hair - she’s amazing, and caring. Ignore the 3 star review as it clearly is a client who did not communicate her needs. As for the nail chip, I’m hard as heck on mine, no chips except once (my fault) and I told them that. Fixed no problem. I suspect if you go against what the technician recommends, you will continue to have issues. Five star location, price, service and follow through. I never give reviews but this one...
