Pizza Connection — Restaurant in Parksville

Hello All, I have been a customer for over 10 years. Point of note I am also a generous tipper. On occasion the delivery service has been extremely poor (e.g.tonight over half an hour late) I asked the delivery driver to wave the delivery fee.....he couldn't. (not his fault). Feeling frustrated I called the restaurant and spoke with Clay. He said the driver could not surrender the pizza to me unless the full amount was paid. What is especially frustrating after this experience is the lack of empathy to me being the customer, and asking for a discount due to the extremely late delivery, and not being compensated for their verbal delivery schedule that was "45 minutes to an hour"! This is also not Clay's fault but a staff and timing issue that needs to be resolved.,....though I was upset with Clay's response considering the product was paid in full with cash, excluding the...

0 star review. I have ordered from here a few times and never issues until tonight! Tried to order the Monday pasta night special 2 baked pastas (spaghetti or lasagna) 2 salads 2 garlic toast and 2 pop. Add 2 more pizzas and bam $96! I asked why and they are charging me for an additional 2 extra Cesar salads! I ask why and he says cause you want Cesar salad, so I said why am I being charged for the salads when I get them with the special, and then he starts going over repetitively that either I take it or don’t order that EVERYONE knows it means only garden salads! Well obviously not and your menu doesn’t state that it’s only garden salads like your pasta states spaghetti or lasagna! Never ordering from this place again even though they did have good pasta. This used to be our favorite pizza place. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it. After my experience with only who I could assume to be the manager, we will not be returning. Placed an order for 3 pizzas for delivery, and immediately tried to call back to change the order to 2 pizzas. Called several times, it said the number was unavailable. After fifteen minutes of trying, I found another number (why have three numbers?) and called to straighten it out. I was called a liar by the manager, because they had apparently been answering the phones all night. I understand that changing an order 15 minutes after it was placed is normally not a good move, but seeing how expensive it is, it was worth it for us, and I had been trying since I first placed the order.
