Dec 23, 2021. 10pm. My hot tub pump started acting up. YouTube led me to burp it with the bleed valve. The plastic bleed valve plug was frozen and snapped. Hot tub water sprayed across patio, freezing in the winter air. Unable to plug it, I turned power off to limit flow, hoping it wouldn't freeze overnight.
Next morning, drove to the dealer where I bought hot tub and then every other dealer and repair shop in town. Each shop was closed for Christmas. With dread of a massive repair, there was one last shop to try.
Okanagan Home Centre was open! The person at the front desk listened to my story and brought me into the back room. There, we rifled through drawers and cabinets until we found a few options that I felt may work.
They then gave me the plugs, wished me luck, and a Merry Christmas.
Low and behold, one of the plugs fit, and the impending doom of a massive bill passed. They quite literally saved my Christmas spirit.

Read moreI've been meaning to leave this review for some time now. This business should be giving other businesses in how to give customer service! We bought a hot tub from the Penticton location in the spring and they made the whole interaction a very positive one.
The whole staff from Owners down are absolutely great!
I would like to shout out Nikki who I see and deal with the most. She is absolutely fantastic and is so polite and patient with all my "green-ness" of being a new hot tub person. She has answered and helped me with everything that I have needed, she really is a 10/10 at making customers feel comfortable.
One more shout out is to Jason, our tub had a bit of a hiccup and upon his inspection he found and replaced the issue and we have not had anymore hiccups at all.
I wish I could name all the staff as they all deserve a shout out, so I hope they all get recognised for there great service. Keep up the great...
Read moreAfter dealing with another local company for over nine years — and growing tired of their attitude and negativity — we decided to stop by Okanagan Home Center before giving up on our hot tub completely. We were warmly greeted by Dawn, whose positive attitude and encouraging advice made all the difference.
She took the time to listen and helped us come up with a new plan to switch to a different sanitizer and conditioner that should be gentler on our skin. We know there may still be some challenges with the change to bromine, but the biggest difference was how respected and supported we felt.
For the first time in a long while, we left feeling hopeful about enjoying our hot tub again — and not like a couple of dummies. Thank you, Dawn, for restoring our confidence and reminding us that good service still exists! By the way, this is the first time I have ever...
