Leon's Furniture — Local services in Quinte West

Went into the store to shop for a couch. At first I was upset that no associates were coming up to me to help as I seemed to be the only person in the store. About 20-30 minutes later a lovely woman approached me and asked if I needed help. Tania sat with me and answered all of my questions as I was divided between two different couches. She was helpful and checked me out. I was approved for the deferred financing option which is very nice not having to pay up front. She said delivery would be available in 4-5 days and I scheduled it. When the day arrived I was able to track the truck from the night before. They give you a 4 hour window and tell you how many stops they have left. They also text you. I really appreciated this because before I used IKEA and the communication was terrible. Ikea delivery was a terrible experience. Leon's was quite the opposite. Leon's arrived at the top of the 4 hour window at noon. They came in asked where I wanted the furniture and got to work. They were in and out in 5-10 minutes. They were extremely kind, mindful of my home and not to damage anything, assembled the couch for me, and tested it not only to see if it worked, but I told them I wanted enough room to recline to where I wasn't hitting the wall. They measured and placed it right where I wanted it. I tipped and offered them some water and they left. Overall a great experience from in store purchasing to delivery. I highly recommend going in-store to try out your couch first. I almost bought a $2,000 couch I saw online and loved! Then sat on it in store and it was extremely uncomfortable. So I am glad I went in and Tania helped me find the perfect couch for my budget. 5 Star and now that I have a line of credit with them, once I pay this off I will return and purchase...

Today I received my new washer and dryer. To some a new washer and dryer might not seem like a big deal but to me it was pretty special as my old washer and dryer were about 30 years old! When the dryer finally quit I started to look for new appliances. As I live in Belleville I looked around here at different locations, and I found what I thought I wanted at Home Depot but was that a bad decision. Home Depot doesn't have their own delivery service and the appliances were somewhere in TO. I was given 3 different delivery dates and waited all day for the delivery which didn't happen. After the first failed delivery my Daughter said go to Leon's we buy everything from them..I should have listened. I canceled the order at Home Depot and drove over to Leon's. We were met by a very nice salesman by the name of Kyle..in no time he had shown me the same appliances as I had wanted and told me more information about them that I didn't know about before. The fact that they had a 10 percent off sale made the deal that much more sweeter. Kyle said the delivery would be Friday and I received a call to state the delivery was on the way. Andrew and Tucker arrived with the appliances and carried them in,placed them.where we wanted them and the job was finally completed.Andrew and Tucker were both clean,neat and friendly. I certainly learned a valuable lesson and will deal with this company again in the future. Thank you...

It was time for new kitchen appliances and Howard was so knowledgeable and helpful. Rich & Hayden delivered the first of the appliances and were wonderful! Thank you everyone!

Editing my review: After contacting the store in regards to delivery of my remaining appliances, my call was never returned after being told they would look into it and get back to me, This was well over a month ago. Approx two weeks ago I had a call from deliveries saying my one appliance was in but I'm still waiting on another, they too assured me they would look into it and that I would hear back from them. Nope. Not a word. VERY DISSAPOINTED in my post-sale customer service!!

Part III: My concerns were immediately looked into and followed up. The customer service manager stepped in and a replacement appliance was ordered as I would have been waiting another three months for the original item ordered which I'd already been waiting several weeks on. Delivery guys Andrew and Tucker were great. Very kind, thoughtful, respectful and diligent. The only downfall was having to make two trips that day but in the end, the delivery was done. Twice we had to remove our heavy front door but after the 2nd removal, one of the gentlemen stepped up and helped to hang the door back up after watching us...
