Yesterday we were in this store as a last stop before heading home. We come from two hours away and we always make it a point to stop buy and purchase some items as we don’t get to come into the city as often as we’d like. While we were waiting in line at the till the power in the store went out. Meaning that the cashier (a lovely Filipina lady, I unfortunately never got her name but I will next time we go) was unable to finish our transaction. It was already later in the evening at this point and we didn’t mind waiting for the power to turn back on, but when she found out that we had 2 hours of travel in front of us, she and her coworkers went around the store to manually price check each and every one of the items we wanted and wrote them down with a pencil to paper as a receipt. There was also another woman with a calculator to make sure we got charged correctly. They then allowed us to pay using a debit terminal that was not connected to a computer/till. They all worked together to make sure we could get out of there asap and get on the road. They have really outdone themselves and it was so kind of them to do all of that even though they did not need to. Plus, we got a bunch of amazing food, snacks, and drinks. 10/10! Thanks for the incredible...

For this store, I would like to rate 0 stars, but since Google’s lowest score is 1 star, it is a reward for their cheating. I went to buy 2 packs of noodles with the listed price of $5.99 for the first pack, the second pack will cost $3 (see picture). However, when I went to pay, they still charged $5.99/pack.
I complained to the cashier but she did not care about the listed price. She said that only the price on their computer system is valid. The listed price is for reference only and can be wrong at any time. If it were not for my daughter's insistence on buying, I would definitely refund.
Advice for you: Always check the receipt carefully because the listed price on the shelf is only a...
Read moreGreat Asian Market is clean and well-tended. Adequate parking is out front and streetside spots may be available. A wide array of fresh, frozen and dried specialty foods are available on-site, with import goods lining the shelves at every turn. There is no fish sauce aroma in the aisles, and the air conditioning was active when I visited. The staff was busily stocking shelves and was both polite and professional when it was time to check out. The store is well lit, with music playing to boost the experience. The wide aisles will accommodate shoppers in each direction while using a cart. Although I came for only a few items, the prices were reasonable overall for each category of...
