Papa Natos Glaze and Grill Chicken — Restaurant in Regina

We had a flavourful meal. I indeed had high expectation for their chicken but it didn't appear freshly grilled. The flavour was there but it lacked the freshness & crisp of a freshly cooked meat. The sesame ball didn't taste good either. It might have sit there for a while before being served.

The ribs was good but a bit too fatty. My girlfriend had the adobo but the meat wasn't tender. It might have appeared that they used the lechon (crispy pork belly) for the pork adobo.

On the other hand the macaroni salad was very tasty. The garlic rice was moist and savory.

For dessert, the flan was too sweet and hard for my liking. Perhaps it is Filipino style; I am unsure. However, the flan that I am familiar with has a spongy and soft texture with a strong coffee caramel.

I have heard of this place as my brother and his family always go here so me and my other sisters went here for supper last Saturday (Sep 3). I liked the Natos chicken and the grilled marinated pork, really good! Not a fan of the bulalo soup (too salty) and the turon (too hard and bland). What I did not like was the service. The lady that was serving us kept ignoring us and had a poker face. She probably was having a bad night but at least be nice to your clients and don’t ignore them. We did not get enough disposable gloves for the boodle that we ordered and napkins to clean our hands with which is essential if you order a boodle and plan to eat with your hands. Was actually stopping in at Tim's for some donuts and noticed this place across the parking lot, in the strip mall. Thought what the heck and decided to check it out. Ordered some items to take home for supper. Smelled great all the way home (it's my car's new air freshener ;0). Sooooo glad we stopped in. The food was GREAT!
