RJ's Market — Local services in Sault Ste. Marie

This little grocery store is a diamond in the ruff. They have great quality foods at an affordable and very decent price. They have well stocked shelves and the store is kept clean. The staff is one of the reasons why I continue to shop here. A few of their staff really stand out by going out of their way to provide excellent service and beyond. How many stores can you still go to where the staff hold the door for you and carry your groceries to your vehical and still smile? By going that extra mile and sincerely wanting to be of service to their customers made me a loyal customer. Another thing that makes this grocery store a wonderful shopping experience is the pizza department and deli, there you will find another outstanding staff member that not only makes the Soos best pizzas but also provides excellent service. The meat department has a great fresh selection of quality meats with amazing prices that even large chain stores cannot compete with. For these reasons I will continue to shop here again and again. I was happy seeing the halal sign. Price paid for beef combo 17.86$$. I don't mind paying the price however where is the taste? I mean the beef tastes horrible. Its like chewing rubber. How is it even friendly for students and working individuals.

Extremely over priced. Often find expired food still on shelves months later. Personally only shop there for my hamburger as they have a butcher shop. Bad experience with purchasing lunch meat from the deli counter times three! Will not go for a fourth. Have heard many accusations of managment switching expiry dates on deli meats, past employees also claim this. All in all I only go for the hamburger, I know that's fresh, refuse to pay 10 bucks for a brick of cheese that is 5 bucks...
