Dairy Queen (Treat) — Local services in St. Catharines

Been to this location a handful of times but our most recent visit was notably bad, We waited at the ordering speaker for 2/3 minutes with no greeting or answer, there was no customers in line ahead of us in drive thru and none in store, so I said ok let’s drive up and order at the window maybe something is wrong with the speaker. We then sat at the pick up window for another 2 minutes blatantly staring in at 6 or more young employees to which none came to greet us or take our order, the one young boy seen us out there and didn’t think to come ask us if we had ordered or if we would like to…. We circled around and ended up behind another vehicle, the speaker came on instantly and they ordered, we then ordered and cars were piling up behind us, person ahead got their order within seconds, we then sat and waited for 1 small blizzard for another 5 minutes because they started working on multiple other orders that were behind us, ahead of mine. I paid $8 something for a small Skor blizzard with cheesecake added (assuming it was because I added cheesecake to my blizzard) and only got 3 SINGULAR pieces of cheesecake that I paid extra for!! Consider operating an establishment with some individuals over the age of 16 because these kids weren’t taking their job...

So I was a a few of my friends they got intouble for a gir bc the guy locked them in the store so they can use the washroom then she leave when he unlocked the door to let her out then she brushed past him to Leave the store then the key chain for the key fell of the key then she stepped on it by accident without knowing then he forced her to pick it up but she didn’t know she stepped on it then he puched her to the side then he picked her up and I went today to order a ice cream today and I wasn’t there that day it happens but I was with two of the girls that where there but not the gir who stepped on the key then he’s like Im taking ur order to us but I wasn’t there so I wouldn’t of know what happened and then I was waiting they ignored me and let the people beside me go instead of me when I was ent there and I was like excuses me to ask them why they didn’t take my order when I wasn’t there which I find rlly werid and disrespectful that ur employees did that a tall coloured guy with glasses (Indian) dark hair then two girls working with him today at 7:43 Sunday October 5 and that was very rude and disrespectful of them and Im really...

So terribly disappointed in the service from this location. If you are going to offer delivery through delivery partners do not make the drivers wait in the long drive-thru line up to collect orders. This is unbelievably rude to your clients who are waiting for their order especially when there is more than 10 cars waiting. All the other restaurants in the city have a set up for delivery drivers so they can be in and out even the other Dairy Queen location is fast pick up inside the store they have taken the proper precautions for the current situation. There is no reason that orders for delivery cannot be collected at the front door like every other restaurant that offers delivery. You are going to have some serious upset customers and it is unfair to the delivery drivers who are trying to make a living. Nobody wins when you have to wait 30 minutes for food or ice cream. Please take this feedback and correct the issue, I refuse to deliver anything from this...
