Parkland School Division - Division Office — Local services in Stony Plain

If you have registered and not moved everything is all good; my kids took the bus last year. I moved in October and have been desperately trying to change my address for 5 months now. Between unanswered emails, unreturned voicemails and now recent in person encounters they have now reached an all-time low in customer service or client care. After finally touching base over the phone in February, three phone calls later they are still unable to help anyone or tell you anything but generic statements that you can find on the website in order to protect a child's information. I was then told to stop by to deal with the matter in person, given their address, directions and best time of day to stop by. After meeting that same person in the front foyer of their office I was then looked in the eye and told to "email her" my new address. Cindy Pittman at the front desk is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. I won’t get into too much detail but she initially made a mistake which I get.. we are all human. So when I phoned her, she gave me very clear instructions. I followed them, and when I went into the office the following week, she told me a completely different story and advised me to come back. No apology, nothing. She completly wasted so much of my time. I called the following week to see if she had resolved her error and all she did was give conflicting and confusing information. Every superintendent there does not like to be questioned and when a problem arises they don't like to talk about it. They just want to silence you so they don't have to deal with you. All we wanted was help with our son and they refused to do the proper help so we could stay In their schools. Especially Meg is suppose to be knowledgeable about kids education isn't. They do not want to help your kids succeed. They don't give you proper anwsers to things and spin things around to blame the parents.
