Read moreCloverdale Mall has been a go-to shopping destination for me over the years, but recently, I've noticed a decline in its overall appeal. While it still retains some decent stores, I can't help but feel that the mall has been slowly losing its charm.
One of the main issues I've observed is the diminishing quality of stores. Many of the high-end or unique retailers that used to grace the mall have closed their doors, leaving behind a noticeable void. Instead, I've seen more generic and mainstream stores taking their place, resulting in a lack of diversity and character in the shopping experience.
Furthermore, the mall's transition towards incorporating condos is a clear indication of its changing direction. While I understand the need for urban development, it's disheartening to witness the transformation of a once-vibrant shopping hub into a mixed-use development. The focus seems to be shifting away from retail, and it's unclear how this will impact the overall shopping environment in the long run.
On the positive side, Cloverdale Mall still has a few reliable anchor stores that provide a decent shopping experience. Additionally, the mall's food court offers a variety of dining options, making it a convenient spot for a quick meal or snack.
Overall, I would give Cloverdale Mall a three-star rating. While it still serves its purpose as a shopping destination, the decline in the quality of stores and the ongoing transition towards condos leave me concerned about its future. I hope that the management takes steps to revitalize the mall and bring back the unique shopping experience it...
Read moreI asked for acrylic... instead of telling me they don't do acrylic they used gel charged me 65$ I even double asked the guy that it's acrylic before he started because I didn't see anyone else getting acrylic and he said yes. He did a really bad job they didn't even file it down enough they were wide and far nails, they failed to mention the nail polish I picked would be an extra 10$... And long story short the nails look worse than the time I tried use a gel set on myself. Waste of 73 damn dollars! I have no idea why this place is so over priced... I specifically asked not just once but twice if it's acrylic because I hate the gel it's painful to get on and painful and next to impossible to get off, and I'm just dying to get these ugly poorly don't fat over priced nails off. It took them almost 2 hours to finished up with me and I saw them do 2 pedicures to 2 completely different customers who did not come together or talk with each other without even washing the foot tub. I noticed about 3 customers who were clearly regulars and had some sort of relationship with the workers but these people only got simple nail paintings not any sets done. I'm assuming that's where the decent reviews come from ( the people who only get there nails filed and painted ) I will never return and I wish more than ever I could get my 73$ back, as I might have well just burned the money that how horrible they were. If you still do decide to go DO NOT let the man who works there do your nails he has no idea what he's doing and he makes it rough and painful. The sides of one of my nails bled for at...
