Refresh Juice Bar & Fruit Imporium — Restaurant in Toronto

This location is okay. The smoothies are alright. I ordered one mango and one avocado smoothie and both were pretty warm, almost as if no ice was blended in them. I feel like the menu could use some tweaking or the staff could just use some training. The blonde woman behind the counter with the accent who looks to be about in her mid twenties is very unsanitary. She touches the coins, the cash register and the iPad used for interact and then she touches the knives and fruits to make the smoothie as if the customer isn’t watching. Last time I noticed that she did it with three customers ahead of me so I asked her to change her gloves and she looked at me surprised and replied “right now!” then got upset and placed new gloves over the ones she already had on. Not to mention the tips of her gloves were very dirty almost as if she hadn’t changed them all day.

After school i wanted to get something sweet and cold, the moment i walked in i noticed an employee flirting with another man while on the job, she continued to give me looks and treat me not as a customer but as if i wasn't supposed to be there, as well as making it seem as if i was annoying her (rolling her eyes, giving me nasty looks, etc.). As for the cleanliness, she did not wear gloves, wash her hands or even wash the ice scream scoop she was using. In terms of the product, it wasn't the worst but at certain points started to taste funky, as if there was something they put in it that had already gone bad. Overall i DO NOT SUGGEST, the customer service, handling of products and the funky taste their food gives of leads me to believe that the owner isn't serious at all about his business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY...

I was shopping in this mall and i wanted something sweet to eat so I got their Ice Cream as a treat for myself and i ordered the "Lemon Ice Cream". The taste of the Ice Cream itself was horrible and it tasted like wood and chemicals. I do not recommend this place if you want to quench your thirst or have a sweet treat after we wanted to get another flavor they refused to refund us until we confronted them. The owner of the shop tried to kick me out of the place saying "get out my shop" and calling security to get us out of the whole building. In conclusion I do not recommend this place.
