We hired Sidecar for our wedding and we were blown away at how amazing they were! We were looking for a classy way to entertain our 200 guests during our cocktail hour, and came across Sidecar. They seemed to be perfectly in line with our style so we went ahead and booked them for our May 2020 wedding. When the pandemic hit in March 2020, we had to cancel the big wedding, but in August 2020, we decided to proceed with a small, 24 person microwedding in Sept 2020. We spoke with Sidecar and they agreed to work with us to accommodate a smaller gig. They played as I walked down the aisle and throughout the lunch reception. Not only are they very talented, they are also just really nice guys, and great with rolling with changes... they were able to read cues and wrap songs up whenever someone unexpectedly stood to make a toast, and play during the rest of the meal to fill the silence and give our entire event a super CLASSY vibe. After searching for a jazz group to play at our wedding, we happened to stumble upon Sidecar's page. We loved their style and were able to meet them over coffee. We didn't have a strong vision of what we wanted, we just knew we loved their style, and they were incredibly accommodating. They were able to play several requested songs we gave them ahead of time as well as deal with many of our last minute change of plans. They even saved the day with some clutch masking tape for decorations! They were absolutely gracious through the entire thing - and were a great hit with everyone at our wedding. Sidecar played at my wedding at the Elora Mill. They covered the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. It was truly an incredible night of music, all of our guests were so impressed and we had so many tell us that Sidecar was one of the bests bands they've seen. Sidecar worked with us throughout the whole planning process to nail down the timeline, song choices, and vibe for each part of the evening.
