⭐ 1 Star — Absolutely Disgusting and Unsafe! AVOID THIS PRODUCT! I bought the Surati Undhiyu Mix (Frozen) and was absolutely horrified by what I found inside. The vegetables were black, rotten, dried out, and completely inedible. This is nowhere close to what’s shown on the packaging. Instead of fresh, vibrant vegetables, what I got looked like decayed waste — totally unacceptable and a disgrace to Indian cuisine. This is pure cheating. It’s clear that Surati is just trying to make a quick buck by dumping low-quality garbage in their frozen packs. This is not a small packaging error — this is a serious food safety concern. 🔴 A full Canadian Standard Health Inspection must be done on all frozen products sold by Surati. This is not only disappointing — it could be dangerous if consumed unknowingly. I am deeply frustrated and angry. Companies like this should not be allowed to sell food in Canada without strict quality control. If this is what they’re selling openly in major stores, who knows what else they’re compromising? DO NOT BUY THIS. I’m reporting this to the local food inspection authority. I strongly urge others to check their frozen products from Surati carefully — your health is more important than saving a few dollars.

About 2 hours ago, I bought Surati Methi Para from a local supermarket. In good faith, like many, I did not check the expiry date. I came home, had my dinner, and I thought of having some Surati Methi Para. It tasted so bad that I did spit out even one piece. It wasn't smelling good either. That's when I checked the expiry date, which is a week from today, Nov. 02, 2024. Instead of thinking of selling edible items at the last date of the expiry date, the supermarket should have returned items bearing expiry to its suppliers. The manufacturers or suppliers , or appointed agents should also inspect such sensitive matter instead of only getting business from such supermarkets.

Bought their biscuits named "PUNJABI BISCUITS" from a near by store, the taste was too bad and had to compost it immediately. Then i came here to check if i am the only one who has an issue with their food products, but i read even more scary stories about them. I don't know why on earth the Canadian Food Inspection Agency is not inspecting their food products. Edit: Just checked their food processing facility through google map/earth and saw this, photo attached. HORRIBLE

Surati Sweets is a bustling and vibrant place that consistently draws in a large crowd, and for good reason. Their selection of pickles, Indian sweets, and vegetarian items is truly impressive.

Walking into Surati Sweets feels like stepping into a treasure trove of flavors and aromas. The variety of pickles available is extensive, catering to various tastes and preferences. Whether you're a fan of spicy, tangy, or sweet pickles, you're sure to find something that tickles your taste buds.

The Indian sweets at Surati Sweets are a true delight. From traditional favorites like Gulab Jamun and Jalebi to more exotic treats, the range is both diverse and mouthwatering. These sweets are crafted with care and are a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.

In addition to pickles and sweets, Surati Sweets also offers a variety of other vegetarian items, adding to the overall appeal of the store. It's no wonder that I enjoy visiting this place with my family every quarter. The experience is always a culinary adventure, and we look forward to exploring new flavors and revisiting old favorites. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, Surati Sweets is a must-visit...

Surati Sweets - the level of customer service at your store is appalling. I have been holding back for years on writing a negative review on the lack of customer service, but today's experience was the straw that broke the camel's back.

We had placed an order for 10lbs white jalebis earlier in the week, and when I got to your store, there was nothing ready, in fact all the white jalebis were sold out. I was told to return in the morning for the order. I told them it was unacceptable, and the young lady went looking for the order on the bulletin board. She talked to the older lady and somehow vaguely concluded that our order was "missed'. They suggested I take the orange jabelis instead.

There was no admission of guilt, no apologies for forgetting to make the order; and when I refused to pay the full price, a discount of 10% was reluctantly offered to keep me quiet after I made a fuss.

Wake up Surati Sweets, your customer service is pathetic. Buy them an order book, so such incidents don't recur. Develop a proper system for taking orders and tracking them...
