Eelam Trinco Bay — Restaurant in Toronto

If I could give less than one star, I would have given. I have always been ordering from this store ever since they opened. They use to have good and quality food.

Yesterday I ordered for pick up 3 dishes. In the veg noodles I found thin rubber band. I was furious as my younger kids eat this food. I called the store to inform them of this mistake. The response I got was unbelievable. They denied the fact the store has no rubber band at all. I did not call for compensation or anything. It was to inform of their mistake and had my kids ate that food and something happened I wouldn’t let that store operate.

When I called at 11 pm ish to inform of this, the female who answered the phone denied and another male in the background I could hear smirk laugh. No one was being apologetic or sorry for this mistake. This type of behaviour is preposterous and the owner and workers need to be held accountable.

This place is one of the worst places I have ever been to. I ordered mutton Kothu, and a beef devil and a fried rice I waited for more than 1 hour and when I got my food and went home I saw that they gave me the wrong order I orded a mutton kothu and got chicken instead. The place isn't even busy and they made me wait for more than an hour just to give me the wrong order. The place itself isn't really pleasing to look at, and when I finally went to check the food it looks like a puttu kothu it doesn't look pleasing at all. The beef devil is so dry and doesn't taste good at all it does not taste like beef devil. Do not recommend absolutely horrible like I see on TikTok people are saying it's amazing but it is the opposite. Horrible place do not go. Update: We’ve been regulars at this place for years, and i don’t think it will change as far as the food is concerned. But the front desk people need to learn a bit of customer service and own it if they made a mistake. I would happily pay for the wrong order and pay and get what I wanted on top of it, because I know how hard it is to run and sustain in the restaurant business, and they are truly an amazing local spot. But it goes a long way, if you acknowledge the mistakes you make and attempt to resolve them.
