They didn't turn down the lights until 10 min into to movie so the 3D sucked at first, the coke was flat the nibs rock hard, and food/drinks are more expensive than the big theatres. The movie (Deadpool and Wolverine) stopped playing half way in, then they started it and It played with no video only sound for about 7 minutes then the video came on and it played a few more minutes ( lights on again) eventually they got it back to the part when it stopped the first time but they left the lights on again, a person went and told them and they did turn the lights out eventually. It was hot, the seats are not comfortable enough for a 2 hr movie. It just wasn't really that good. Maybe it is fine most of the time and I'm sure for a short film the seats are ok but after this experience this I think I'll just drive the few extra minutes into red deer next time I wanna sit in a theatre. Even with the cost of fuel red deer is cheaper and the seats are so much better. I realize this probably isn't the normal experience but it's what happened the only time...

The manager and staff were quite friendly, they accommodated our need for less sodium on the popcorn, and even found a more reasonable deal for the price. My only complaint, and I believe this to be company wide and not specific to this location, was that the cost was astronomical for pop and popcorn, for $38 we got two large popcorn, two large drinks, and two candy choices. This may sound alright, however, one large and one medium drink and popcorn, with no candy was $36. I think that is absurd. With all that out of the way the tickets were $23 for two adults, only marginally cheaper than cineplex. Things of note at this location, some of the seats were squeaky (L7, L8), the chair space is cramped... otherwise the location was clean, easy to follow to the three theatres, and an overall...

Landmark Cinemas in Sylvan Lake is absolutely fantastic for a family outing! My kids and I genuinely love coming here. The theaters are always clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciate the friendly staff who make every visit a pleasant experience. The concession stand has all our favorite treats, and it's so convenient to be able to order ahead. We've enjoyed many memorable movie nights here. It's truly our favorite place to catch the latest films and make some great family memories. Highly recommend for anyone in Sylvan Lake looking for a fun and easy movie experience...
