Champagne nail lounge on west 4th — Local services in Vancouver

I hate having to write this but honestly that was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My boyfriend was gifting me a pedicure as a birthday present and he came with me to get his done too. It’s not something he does often but we thought it would be fun to do together.

The girls were so rude and just looked so disappointed that he was with me. He immediately felt uncomfortable by how they were being and from there our whole experience just did not feel good. Any time I asked a question the one girl who I’m assuming was the manager or owner seemed annoyed. The girl who did my toes did not seem experienced at all and it got to the point where I had to be pretty insistent on the mistakes she was making to be fixed. I also called before because they had a promo and said there’s a free drink like champagne included.. even in their bio it says free complimentary drink and when I asked about it was made to feel like an idiot and said it was only if you came for weddings. Which was not what I was told and their instagram bio is misleading. It’s not a huge deal but how they handled it was again rude and uncomfortable. She also cut my toes WAY too short and the polish was not good either.

I’ve gotten plenty of pedicures and been to multiple salons and like I said, am not excited to have to write this but it was that bad that I couldn’t not write a review.

Nice painting, bad shape, good price. It was my first time at Champagne Nail Lounge. I had been carefully growing my nails for about a 2 months so I asked the nail tech to keep my nails the exact same length & shape, but just cleanup any rough/uneven areas. She ended up filing off almost everything so quickly! One nail is literally at skin 😣 and she made them very uneven and mishapen. She tried to fix it but it just made them shorter. I eventually asked her to stop and I literally filed the rest myself. I should have spoken up sooner but I didn’t want to be rude or question her technique. I ended up changing my polish color to something much more suitable for short nails. That said, the painting part did turn out nice. They look cute — just not at all the original color or length I had intended. I think I will go back eventually but I will shape my nails...

Nice aesthetic and friendly staff. Unfortunate experience. They were offering deluxe 60 minute pedicures, so my partner and I booked in to try them along with a shellac manicure for myself. The pedicures were over in 30 minutes which wasn't a huge deal, until I woke up today, two days later and my nails were already chipping and I noticed my cuticles hadn't been done. I reached out and was told that the 60 minutes includes drying time and that they spent 45 minutes on the pedicures, which they didn't. They offered to fix my nail but not redo the manicure for the cuticles. I requested a partial refund as I only received part of what I paid for and they said it's against policy. I've learned why I don't branch out from Point Grey Nail Salon!

Update: 4 nails chipping after 5 days and the business stopped responding to...
