Pure Nail Bar — Local services in Vancouver

The first time I went in my manicure was done well, so I wanted to go back for a gel polish change. I booked an appointment, and arrived only to be told (by, I believe, the same person who booked it from the sound of her voice) that she had no booking for me and couldn't accommodate me. I wouldn't have minded the inconvenience as much, but as a new mom I had to arrange my child's nap/feeding around the appointment time. Very frustrating because I had to leave town the next day on vacation and didn't have time to get the service done anywhere...

Unfortunately one of the poorest quality manicures I have had. Lovely team, very friendly, no complaints there. But the gel mani pedi took 2.5 hours (many places take 1.25 hours) and started to peel off almost immediately. I went back for a repair on two nails the next day, and 4 more were peeling by the day after. Several different colours as well, so it was not an issue with the polish, it was an issue with the application. Paid to get them redone at another...

Went for a footsie pedi. The service was done in 40 min, The girl was nice but rushed through the whole service. Just got my cuticle pushed back, but she barely cleaned them. She put the 3 layers of polish one after the other and told me I could leave, but I didn’t have sandals, so she left me there to go to another client and after 10 min it hadn’t dried out - of course. So I had to asked for a dryer to accelerate the time… the sunken couch was really old…...
