Thornhill Outdoor Swimming Pool — Local services in Vaughan

The pool is great itself, but management is really bad ! The biggest problem in this pool is when Aqua-fitness ladies stay after classes end & won’t leave, they use slow lane for leisure swim which is only dedicated to lane swimming considering that lane swimming has very limited times during the week.

I tried many times to use slow lane for swimming and these women have really bad attitude especially that they’re taking over the whole lane !!!

With all due respect to ladies, but I find this super annoying , management & life guards are too afraid to talk I guess , please ask them to leave after aquafitness or ask them to not take the whole lane...

Usually go to beach for sunbathing, but I really can't stand the constant heat, dirty water and sand. Came across Thornhill Outdoor Pool while searching for outdoor pool. I've only been there once, but I couldn't be happier. It's only a 15 mins drive from where I live. The place is clean overall. I can sunbath and have clean water to cool me down whenever I need to. If I just wanna chill, I grab a noodle, float away and relax. If I want a little exercise, I go to the deep end and have a few short laps. I found the patrons there are mostly very polite and considerate of others. Life guards take their job seriously. I'll be back...

We arrived for the 5-7 time slot on time. The girl at front desk told his that they were filling the pool with fresh water and we would have to wait 20-30 mins. We asked if we would get additional time past 7, she said no. We sat down to wait on the deck. At 6 pm, they made the announcement that the pool would not reopen and to go home. We wasted a half hour driving to the pool, an hour waiting for it only to be sent home.
