A visiting family was kind enough to bring some goodies from VDB for dinner. We weren’t even of the existence of this bakery so we were pleasantly surprised as well as the gesture by family. The Tiramisu Cheesecake (10 out of 5!) was sublime and was amongst the best vegan cheesecake we have ever had. In fact it would be right near the top as well even compared to non vegan cheesecakes we have ever had. The Chocolate Biscotti (10 out of 5!) was again a grand slam. It’s been a while since I had a biscotti since we turned vegan and this just hit the spot. With coffee - OMG! Although we got to eat half, it was very satisfying. Danish Rum Balls (10 out of 5) - my favourite ice cream flavour at one was Rum Raisin and this DRB bought memories of those days. Perfectly flavoured with rum, and the raisins were a bomb with rum flavour. Just mind blowing. Butter Pecan Tarts - (5 out of 5). Very good tarts. Not too sweet, the pie shell, very well done and baked to perfection. The Danish Pastry (3 out of 5). They are not my favourite and this didn’t change my mind. Mind you nothing wrong with pastry itself. Please let this be my last desserts if I had my way!

Delicious delicious scrumptious vegan dishes. They serve regular food as well as vegan desserts. also sell a small assortment of vegan groceries. Parking is a little tough to find: go into the driveway between the building and the full serve PetroCan and you'll find a small free lot in the back. Go around the building to the Yonge side to find the entrance. The decor is super adorable and photo worthy, even though it's small. You can stay and dine if you'd like after you order at the counter and they'll bring you the food. They have a washroom if you need it. They also make cakes you can order in advance. The prices are worth it considering it's one of the only vegan places north of the city. Customer service is fantastic 👌. I've ordered tons of times from them to cater to vegan friends when I host gatherings. Even non-vegans can't tell the difference and love their desserts. They have amazing coffee as well. As a big dairy lover I need milk in my coffee but their coffee is too good to pass up. I prefer to go here over the Starbucks across the street 🤷🏼‍♀️. The place feels family owned and it shows in their attention to customers. Huge thumbs up!

This place is pretty much the vegan trifecta. The food is beyond words. They have everything from breakfast to desert and everything in between. My favorite so far is their tuna sandwich pictured below. It offers a big savory breakfast platter for those hungry folks on sundays (Viking platter also picture below) or a small breakfast plate of just eggs over a biscuit with a cheese sauce (which I find a bit over powering so if you don't like a lot of sauce over your food be sure to ask for half sauce. The great thing about the biscuits is that they are not dry so cutting sauce in half won't ruin anything. They have a large array of vegan chocolate (vegan versions of Mars bars, Snickers and peanut butter cups). They carry some light groceries such as cheese, sausages and frozen meals. They also have some snackage food like chips. THEY ALSO HAVE SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM!!!!!!! Parking is a tad tricky. Our first visit had us driving in a circle three times before figuring out how the access it. Hahahaha!!!!!! Service is amazing, they're all very friendly and respectful and THEYRE DOG FRIENDLY!!!!! Woohoo!!!!! Love this place.
