Today is the 6th time in the past month and a half iv tried to go the shop to buy something, open sign in the window and door locked? What kind of place is this lol
Not to mention, i inquire about prices on a box of dragonball cards. Only sell individually.. ok, so i ask about the price on the pokemon etbās currently selling for 120-140$. Their price = 185$ before tax.. these guys arent giving your kids deals, theyre scalpers.
Iv done a lot of research so when im buying cards for my kids, IM not the one overpaying. Recently was in multiple shops across quebec & nova scotia. The same etbs priced at 160$
Obnoxiously overpriced items and the most inconsistent hours of any ācard shopā. Theres a much better one, with a bigger selection up the road @ Carleton County Collectibles and believe it or not theyre open when they say they are! As for this place, āsupport localā if you like throwing your money away.
Edit: in response to your reply, recommending another store because theyāre functional and maintain a healthier, more realistic price range for the community doesnt mean āim connected to another storeā. You sound like a conspiracy theorist. The proof is in the pictures and yes please do compare prices before supporting someone lying to your face
And no, you dont maintain your posted hours or post actively on your FB page updating when youre not open. I waited two hours past opening one day in my car while the sign said open and a kid sat on his bicycle for an hour outside the shop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped by for the first time and was thrilled by their selection of products and by the inclusive atmosphere of the Friday Night Magic playgroup. Andrew provided me with a warm welcome from behind the counter and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in the doors. I was pleasantly suprised to see the generous size of the area set up for play in the back, including shelves of board games and a Sega Console ready to greet visitors. By 6:30, about 15-20 players had arrived and an extra table was set up to ensure all were comfortably accomidated. I was immediately invited to join a pod and it was clear that folks of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience were all enthusiasticly playing together and made and effort to get everyone involved in a game. I had a fantastic experience at Blue East and would encourage anyone with an interest in games to check out their awesome products and potentially make some...
