What a delightful little spot! The owner was so friendly and gracious, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. We loved all the separate little spaces that provide good privacy to the diners. There is clearly a lot of thought and effort that went into the space. We had the spring rolls to start. For mains, I had the Golden Dragon Noodles and my partner had the mixed vegetable pad Thai. Both were very flavorful. Next time we're passing through Woodstock, we'll be sure to visit again.

I personally love the decor... various chairs to suit your desired comfort. And help for the novice Thai food eater to ensure a perfect dish. I can't eat spicy, but my husband loves it. We were both insanely happy with our meals and the lotus tea! Great butter chicken! And the lemon raspberry cheesecake is divine!

While Dining, we met the owner of this establishment. I cannot say enough good things about such a nice place and a wonderful person. The quinine was excellent. The conversations both informative and entertaining. You won't do better than the Thai Hut for a most wonderful dining experience!

I wish there was a star lower than 1. There is no authenticity to the flavour of Thai dishes. It would seem the chicken for all dishes were fried in soya sauce and to my consternation. So I asked and yes they were cooked prior to just thrown in the mix of different dishes. There is a resemblance of Thai curry paste and coconut milk but none of the other ingredients were present in the dish. So it was just a salty mess and inedible. I even asked for a saucer of sauce and yes it was inedible. We left 2 full dishes that came out green curry and golden noodles. The golden noodles was canned pineapple and it's super sugary juice too sweet for my child. Upon leaving I asked the owner/cook if he had been to Thailand he said no and any formal cooking training again a no. We are now at pizza hut getting dinner after...

I'm going to be blunt: the food is "okay", but it certainly isn't great Thai cuisine. If you are a foodie or are REALLY into Thai food, you can skip this place. HOWEVER...the concept is nice, and the decor and ambiance are quaint. The host/server we had when we visited was AWESOME. He had a tonne of personality and seemed to genuinely care about his guests. If you just want some decent food in a nice setting, (and don't care that your mango chicken doesn't actually have pieces of mango in it) stop in and visit...the people will make up for any perceived short-comings in the meal. (Based on the food alone, this would be a 2-star review, but the gentleman who was running the dining room was GREAT and would be worth...

The food is great, the atmosphere is fun and lighthearted like you are on an island beach retreat. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have the best culinary experience possible, adapting your meal to your preferences and often giving samples of many delicious treats. The complimentary Lotus Tea, poured in elegant glass mugs in enough of a reason to stop by just for tea and chatting in a relaxing atmosphere. The spice level of the food is tailored right for you. I particular liked the soups as an appetizer. Stop by and get served quickly if you are on the road, or take visitors out to eat for an inexpensive meal. A great addition...
