Creek Village Gallery & Cafe — Restaurant in Woodstock

Great art, great food, great coffee, great service. I was only visiting Woodstock. If I lived here, I'd be in this place every day.

In most places, I've come to expect fairly bland art. The art here definitely surpassed my expectations. There was some okay stuff, but also lots of oddball and more intriguing art. I ended up buying an odd doll with a ceramic head.

On my next visit, we ate, had a latte and americano, cinnamon bun (amazing), grilled vegetable panini (fantastic), and mixed berry smoothie (delicious). All at a table looking out at the river. Very comfortable, pleasant time.

A great little spot with a lot going for it. Used to be the Pizza Delight, and there's still a big sign on the side of the building. Maybe they can get some artists...

Great place to sit and relax, supported well by locals and has a cool entrance through an art gallery. The hours are a bit disappointing especially if you are working full-time hours. Weekdays are 9-5, and they are only open 9-3 on Saturday for the weekend. Otherwise they are a great location. They have a good view of the Meduxnekeag River any time of day. They have excellent fresh sandwiches, paninis and breakfast options. They have any caffeinated beverages you could hope for with some ingenuity. The free Wi-Fi is also great for getting some work done early on...

It's a great place to buy local artwork. Get that gift you need for a birthday or other special occasion, or treat yourself! Original paintings, fine woodwork, handmade soap, pottery, jewellery and much more. Go and see for yourself!
