I have been dealing with Sound Electronics for many years. From the late 80's when Sound Electronics founder, Ed, loaded my 79 Camaro with many, many watts of pounding Alpine power, to the 2000's when Ed super tuned my CB radio's for my big rigs so that I was safe on North America's highways and Mountains, to Fran hooking me up with an awesome stereo for our 68' Firebird 400, and most recently, a new remote starter for my Challenger. Stay Away!! When you pay over $350 dollars for installation only, you would expect for it to be done right and have no problems afterward. The owner quoted half the time and then charged an extra hour and half for installation. The installer does not check his work before giving the car back to customer and the owner is not easy to get along with. Think again... before giving any business to this run down operation with miss-managed employees and business owners looking to scam you. I came into Sound Electronics with a stereo issue due to a poor install by a reputable audio place in Hamilton, Within minutes Ed and Steve had the issue figured out and my car was booked in for the next day to do the repairs. They rewired everything and charged me only a fraction of the cost of what the original install cost me!! Everything sounds amazing and I'm no longer experiencing the issues I had before!! I'm extremely impressed, I will be doing all my audio installs and repairs with Sound Electronics...
