The first time I got paid as a 10 year old kid, I remember going to Mr. Submarine it was 1971. The location was on Dundas Street, in Etobicoke. So I know a subs. The evening I walked into the location, all I could smell was onion. A couple of years back, Mr. Sub switched to red onion, which has a shorter shelf life & will stink if overcut & not contained. The reason the gas station smelt like onion is because they had no lid on their cold case. I couldn't even see a lid. That means the cold cuts were left in a volatile environment. I will not be back again...

They offer certain things that places like Subway or Quiznos don’t offer such as pineapple. Also the mayonnaise and giant pickles at Mr.Sub are amazing (if you know, you know). As a child I remember going here often, and the employees/owner were always giving me free cookies (although it’s probably different owners nowadays, it made an impact on me) and I will NEVER...
