I am now officially a Hong Kong Disneyland Hater. I stayed in line for the Jungle River Cruise. Near the entrance of the queue, there's a staff member asking what language we speak and give us a tag to indicate the language of our choice, we speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English so we just randomly picked Cantonese. We waited in line for a long time to get to the boat. Apparently when you get to the end, they organize people into different lines based on the language you picked earlier and because tons of people steak Mandarin, people behind us all skip over the line because they picked Mandarin and the Mandarin queue get filled faster than the Cantonese queue. We asked the staffs if we can switch language, and their response was that we picked the language and we can't switch language anymore (not true either because there's another group in front of us that was able to switch to the Mandarin queue). My mom was so angry that she almost got into a physical fight with the staffs. The staffs told us oh it wasn't that long, their system shows that it was only a 18 minutes wait. Yeah for the people that picked Mandarin, it might be a 16-18 minutes wait, but for the other groups, it's more like a 20 minutes wait. 2 to 3 Mandarin boats get to go before the Cantonese boat gets to go. We were angry not because we are not willing to get in line, WE ARE ANGRY BECAUSE THE STAFF WON'T LET US SWITCH LANGUAGE AT THE END AND ALSO WHEN WE PICKED THE LANGUAGE TAG AT THE ENTRANCE, THE STAFF DID NOT TELL US THAT IF WE PICKED CANTONESE, WE NEED TO WAIT LONGER THAN PICKING MANDARIN. If he had told me this when we picked the tag, we wouldn't have freaking picked Cantonese. Horrible Horrible queue design...

★★★☆☆
Jungle River Cruise is a relaxing boat ride that takes you through a lush jungle setting. It's a good way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the park and enjoy some peaceful scenery.
The boat ride is slow-paced, and the narration is informative, albeit a bit cheesy at times. The bilingual narration in Cantonese and English is a nice touch.
While it's a decent ride, it might not be the most exciting attraction for thrill-seekers. It's more suitable for families with young children or those looking for a leisurely experience.
Overall, Jungle River Cruise is a pleasant ride, but it's not a...
