We dined at Crystal Lotus Restaurant at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Hotel in mid-October 2025, and it was a truly delightful experience. The food lived up to its reputation, with award-winning dishes that were beautifully presented and full of flavor.
We ordered two set menus for two people to share, and the portions were just right—not too much, not too little.
Chopsticks are the main utensils provided, but forks and knives are readily available upon request, and the attentive staff even offered them before we asked. Their care and attention to detail really stood out.
What made our visit truly memorable was the exceptional service. We ordered the Hairy Crab Set, and while we were interested in trying it, we admitted that we weren’t confident about handling the crabs ourselves. Without hesitation, the staff offered to assist with crab meat extraction. A gentle and professional waiter, Mr. Albert, came to our table and demonstrated the process with great skill and patience, carefully preparing the crab meat from both crabs right beside our table.
This level of service went far beyond our expectations and made a strong impression on us. The food deserves a solid five stars, but the service—especially Mr. Albert’s thoughtful assistance—deserves ten.
Crystal Lotus is not only a fine dining experience but also a reminder of how excellent service can make a great meal truly...
Read moreGreat dining experience but definitely comes at a price! My fiance and I made a reservation for the night we arrived, at 7:30PM. We were advised that we would need a reservation here, but it looked like walk-in would definitely be possible too at non-peak times. To be safe, book a reservation.
We ordered the set menu (which is identical to the Romance Dinner Set) which I believe was $550HKD. As I mentioned - definitely not cheap! I would say that the prices in Hong Kong in general are pretty high, so I understand that this is how much they need to charge at Hong Kong Disney. I do think the value was there, coupled with the fact that you cannot get any kind of food delivery to the HK Disney resort, equals a good option for resort dining. All the dishes in the set menu were tasty and enjoyable. The portions were a bit small (but expected, as this is considered high dining). My favourite was definitely the Baked Fried Rice in Whole Crab Shell, which came at the end of our meal.
The service was good which was expected for Disney, and due to the quieter time of the year that we visited. We appreciated that the waitress reminded us to use our hotel guest coupons to save $100HKD off our meal, which we actually did not bring. So she did save us that money! I would definitely reccomend having a dinner here if you are staying...
Read moreBeautiful restaurant, with immaculate service and THE VIEW. wowza. I came in with rather low expectations, thinking the food was another expensive tourist targeted scam, but damn, was i wrong. The thick slices of Groupa fish was stir-fried and seasoned delightfully, so were the plump mushrooms and asparagus. The peking duck, though slightly drier on some parts (we were pre-warned, because we got a half portion) was flavourful and roasted with a crisp skin which made it the perfect filling inside their well made Chinese pancake wrap. It came with a plethora of topping options, one of which was their unique fruity sweet compote of some sort that worked surprisingly really well with the dish, and they gave us a refill because they watched us DEMOLISH the plate. They provide an option for half of the duck to be made into another dish as well, and we got a duck fried rice which also taste superb. Honestly not overrated, and a rather good portion for the price, in addition, staff were very lovely, patient and attentive. Though bit far of a walk from the park, a perfect one to walk off all the delish food we just devoured. The only thing to note would be you would need to be prepared to splurge a bit if your wanting to dine, nonetheless, a beautiful meal to end a tiring but...
