This is a great tour company, friendly staff, nice and comfortable busses. This is a review for the Palo Verde Half Day river tour:

Pros: This tour takes you through the Palo Verde tour which is one of the most beautiful national parks in Costa Rica in my opinion. The wildlife is thriving here and you will see a lot of monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles, birds, and more! Also, this tour company included 3 staff members we were accompanied by a driver, a spotter, and the tour guide. This was great because most other boats driving by appeared to only have a driver as their tour guide. This was really great because there were 3 different people looking for wildlife for us! The tour guide was incredibly friendly and helpful in every way, and really made some of the cons (below) on this tour tolerable. After the tour, you will be taken to a local ranch where you will be served an authentic Costa Rican lunch. This was easily one of the best parts of the tour and one of the best meals on my whole trip! After this, you will be shuttled back to your hotel, which leads into the cons of the tour... :/

Cons: However, the downside to this tour is that you might be in the shuttle for a long time! It took us about 1 Hr 30 Min to ger to the river from our hotel, which wasn't that bad. Although, on the way back it took over 2 Hrs!!! This was because our driver had to drop other families off at their hotels, and this was very exhausting. If this seems like a deal-breaker to you, I would consider skipping the shuttle service and driving yourself. Also, the tour seemed to be a bit on the pricey side, considering all of the driving around.

Conclusion: Overall this was an amazing tour with a bit more driving than expected. We saw tons of awesome wildlife and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Since there is not too many tour options on the North Pacific Coast, this is...

We had 2 days of excursions with Carlos organizing and leading the activities and it was great. The 1st was the ATV tour. Carlos was very prompt and well organized. We arrived early and he had recommend stations fir a coffee house, drove us there personally, and made introductions as if we were VIP . (Great cup of coffee, by the way!).

As for the ATV tour, all the fear and equipment was clean and in excellent condition. He did an excellent job of making sure everyone knew how to operate the vehicles, gave a safety briefing, and route instructions. We had a great ride from the base to Tamarino beach and back around, fording streams and riding dirt paths. Everyone loved the ride. The next day Carlos picked us up at our AirBnB on Coco Beach and we did the canopy and volcano hike &tour at Miravilles. Lunch (excellent food) was included and at the end of the tour we stopped at the volcanic hot springs and enjoyed a mod bath followed by a very relaxing and rejuvenating hot springs spa soak in the natural volcanic spring-fed spa tubs. His tour vehicle was a very roomy hi-top van that could comfortably seat 9 plus their bags. Carlos is also a fountain of information not only about all the sites you visit and the activities, but about history and ecology. We had an amazing day with Pininos Adventures, My family we did a couples tours as: zipline The guides were very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They made a bunch of middle aged noobs feel comfortable and safe. It was a fantastic experience and we look forward to doing it again. Liberia Airport to westin conchal:Definitely the way to go. They were ready and waiting at the airport with a sign. The best part though is they set up your return transfer while you are on your way to your hotel! So easy! They don’t waste your time by making you show up the next morning in the lobby and try to sell you excursions! Texted to confirm the return transfer the day before and immediately responded to the text. Showed up on time and quick, easy trip to the airport. Highly recommend.

Atv tour: Great afternoon on the ATVs for our family of four. Our two boys 16 and 19 had a great time. The guide was helpful and gave a good overview of how to handle the rigs, but then let us go and wasn’t overbearing or restrictive. We visited two beautiful beaches ran through some rivers and muddy roads and everyone had fun be prepared to get dirty! Andreas was so personable and took several pictures throughout our tour and pass them off to us at the end so we didn’t have to worry about trying to get photos. Would highly recommend.
