Literally stumbled upon Wine Garden Skradin purely because we turned down an alley, and a wheelbarrow of garden trimmings stopped us from going any further... a sun-weathered face bearing sparkling smiling eyes and a foreign to my ears tongue of welcome beckoned is into a small private garden.... little did we know, it was the "father" - patriarch of the household. We settled in for local, well, everything, wine tasting, bread, olives, cheese, and prosciutto. Literally 20 steps off the marina. Wonderful location, beautiful garden. Friendly hosts. The free tasting includes only a minimal amount of wine, which you can’t properly evaluate. Unfortunately, the selection of wines is very limited, and the staff has no clue about wine (despite the place being open for 10 years). There is no wine list, so definitely ask for the price, which they will readily tell you. I recommend buying a bottle, as wine by the glass is very expensive. Beautiful garden with pleasant waiter and the story ends here. We’ve paid 2 glasses of average wine 21 €! Prices of these wines in local shops you can find in range of 10-13 € per bottle (0,75 dcl). Not to mention there is no price presented at the table. Obviously in purpose to deceive. If you are willing to pay this price just for the nice atmosphere (waiter told us that the atmosphere is also included in price ?!) than this place is the right...
