I regret not reading the reviews before renting from this business. While the rates are similar to other companies, the owner is extremely controlling. We had agreed to rent a buggy for the day to visit local beaches and watch the sunset, with the condition of not driving past 10pm and returning it by 8:30am the next morning. However, at 7:40pm, the owner started calling us repeatedly. When we didn't hear the phone, he dangerously shut off the buggy's engine remotely. He insisted we leave our location and return immediately, claiming we were somewhere we weren’t allowed to be and wouldn't make it back in time—both false statements. We showed him a GPS screenshot proving we had ample time, but he continued to yell and demanded we return before sunset, threatening to charge €200 from our deposit if we didn't comply. Reluctantly, we headed back and missed the sunset. This incident ruined our entire day and made the overnight rental pointless. Beware of this company. We had a pleasant experience driving through akamas in two separate buggies. However, there were two things I’m a little unhappy about: 1. we originally wanted to rent quad bikes and not buggies but the owner was very adamant about his suggestion that buggies were the better choice, telling us that we were not experienced enough to be driving them through akamas. If this is really the case, and people with little experience of driving quads shouldn’t be driving in akamas, then this should and could have been communicated earlier on the website as well as the WhatsApp communication we had with the owner the day before where he said we could rent his quads without a problem. Ultimately, we felt a little pressured once there to follow his suggestion and take buggies instead. 2. The owner states on his website that the deposit is 100 euros per vehicle however he took 1000 euros from us on the day as deposit. We got the deposit back, however, his information on the website is false and misleading and should be changed...

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend

We had a very disappointing experience with the buggy rental from this place in Paphos. From the very beginning, the woman at the office was extremely rude and unprofessional. When we arrived, the buggies were not even on display, and when we asked if they were in good condition, she sarcastically replied, “Are you planning to buy them or just ride them?” That was our first red flag.

Shortly after we left — no more than 15 minutes — we had to call because one of the buggies was leaking fuel. Her response was, “It was working fine yesterday,” which clearly wasn’t true. From the moment we drove off, we had issues: the buggies kept stalling, felt poorly maintained, and were in overall bad condition.

What was supposed to be a fun and adventurous day turned into a stressful and frustrating experience. Based on how we were treated and the poor state of the vehicles, we strongly do not recommend this...
