Geotours is THE company to take you on some great adventures! We did a half day white water raft thing and a half-day repelling tour. Not only are these guys on their game with safety but they are tons of fun to be around! The prices are so reasonable. Please people! TIP YOUR GUIDES! They work really hard to make your adventure really easy and FUN! We booked online and Oscar responded to us immediately and connected on WhatsApp with instructions for making the reservation and the deposit through PayPal flawlessly. Be sure to take cash for the tour when you go there to avoid any PayPal fees. You can also go directly to the office in Banos. Our guides William, Giovanni, Papucho and driver Angel were super helpful and quite amusing. The river rapids were amazing. The water was kind of dirty that day because they let the damn out but that’s no fault of Geotours. For the repelling we got really lucky because it was just us two for a private tour with Medardo Who really showed us the ropes😆 and waterfalls. Just amazing! Geo tours also gives you FREE pictures included with the ridiculously low price of 30 bucks for a half-day tour. I’ve been on tours like this before and they usually charge you 15 to 25 bucks for just the pictures! Anyway it was all around great tour in a comfortable big bus On a scenic drive about 30 minutes from Banos. Had a great piece of grilled trout for the lunch that is included. We had booked the one day jungle tour as Canyoning was not available due to heavy rainfall the days before. Welcoming at the Office was okay, boots were clean and all required sizes available. We were driven in a brand new, big and expensive car. Driving style of our guide was so/so. Quick, but safety distance to the cars in front was not as it should have been. We had three Drivers before in Ecuador and these were also fast, but kept their safety Limits a bit better. Restaurant, jungle, and local Village were okay. Coacoa Plantation and Kanu tour were superb. We would do the tour again as the contents were properly filling the given time and it was very interesting. About our guide we were a bit wondrous. He was a bit neutral in attitude. Means, he has good Knowledge and also good English, but somehow he made some impression of boredom. I mean if you cannot go canyoning due to the weather and the guide explains everything in slow voice without any accents, then you feel not too excited. Later, when at the coacoa plantation, so almost at the end of the program, he was beginning to ask the usual Questions, whether married, children and so so. Canyoning Cashaurco – Half Day Tour

Looking for a thrilling adventure? This company will show you the ropes! We booked our tour with this company after reading many positive reviews from travel bloggers, and they didn’t let us down! The entire process was smooth. The guides were confident and knowledgable, fun and energetic, but most importantly, focused on getting us safely through the adventure. We didn’t have much/any experience with canyoning, and although it is ideal to be in good physical shape to do an activity like this, they will explain what you need to do (you just have to be courageous enough to do it)! The guides also spoke great English, if this is important for you to know. The guides took awesome photos and videos for us to remember our experience, and we got them on our phone the same day. The tour was a good length, and we were able to spend some time enjoying the canyon between jumps and rappels. After our tour, we asked to be dropped off at Pailon Del Diablo, and were able to explore on our own before catching the bus back to Baños. We definitely recommend this tour for anyone seeking adrenaline.
