I didn’t feel welcome. After my partner and I got seated with menu cards and the information of a closed kitchen (reasonable, we arrived pretty late), we started looking through the beers. Unfortunately when we wanted to order, beers were not an option either so we spend this whole time choosing something that was not available (still having at least 6 different draft beers on the menu). We stayed and went for simple cocktails such as Bourbon Old Fashioned and a Negroni. First the Old Fashioned arrived and from the first look I knew it wasn’t good. I can recommend it only for drinks, preferably smaller parties.
I would not get food here, especially not as a bigger party on a wednesday (we...
Read moreThis was our favorite rooftop in Banos (the other one we went to was Azotea 740, which we also enjoyed). Compared to Azotea, Crater's staff was less professional, but that didn't bother us as they were still great and very friendly.
What we LOVED about Crater was the atmosphere and views from the rooftop. We didn't realize it while we were at Azotea, but the reason we enjoyed the views so much more from Crater was because it's open air instead of enclosed in glass. A truly idyllic spot to enjoy the sunset or really any...
