Hostal Verde Vida — Hotel in Baños de Agua Santa

I really enjoyed by stay at Hotel Verde Vida. We got in very early on a night bus to Banos and the owners were very accommodating to give us a room as soon as possible. Also, the hotel is in the perfect location, only a block from the bus station and a block from the center of town. The owners were also very helpful in getting us to go on all the best tours in town including the casa de arbol (giant swing that swings out into the mountains), cascada tour (waterfall tour), a six line zipline tour, and how to get to the hot springs where the owner even lent us swimming caps which are required to go to the hot springs. This was a nice hotel for one night we arrived in Banos. It was clean, and basic room, but they did our laundry for us, and helped with information. They let us use their computer in the lobby for information,and their daughter was helpful also. The only downside was their was an atrium outside our bedroom window that channeled the noise from the lobby, so had to wait until things settled down to...

Hostel Verde Vida exceeded all expectations. It was very clean (private bathroom was a major plus) and the managers were super nice and helpful!! We had four people in the room and were very comfortable. It is right in the center of Baños, walking distance to anything in town. There is not parking right by the hostel but the manager took us to a gated lot where we paid ~$6. Highly recommend...
