Nile Holiday — Local services in Luxor City

My wife and I booked a 4 day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan plus a 1 day pyramid tour in Cairo with "Nile Holiday" through Khaled Reyad.

Our cruise on the M/S Concerto was fantastic. Great views whilst sailing and a great selection of food. Our Nile Holiday guide, Mohamed, was very informative and passionate about the sites we visited (which were breathtaking) and my wife and I learned a fair bit. The tours were not rushed and we always had a good car and driver to get us there and back.

Our Pyramid tour (in Cairo) was also as good; we visited about 7 pyramids scattered across various areas, including the Great Pyramids at Giza. Our Nile Holiday guide, Ahmed, was just as informative and passionate. He was also very helpful and went out of his way to help my wife and I purchase train tickets for our trip the next day. The tour went for a full day but, as Ahmed had mentioned, you could really spend more than that in one area. The car trip was comfortable and the tour included a lunch at a decent restaurant (just don't eat the pickles; apparently it's a no-no in Egypt).

As with almost anywhere in Egypt, dress appropriately for the weather and the culture. some places are dusty/sandy so shoes rather than sandals are recommended. Water was provided on the tours so just bring your hat...

Nile Holiday is the best way to travel through Egypt. Kaled in Luxor planned a great schedule for us and listened to all my concerns and wishes. In Cairo we had Mamoud Sultan as a guide who was attentive and kind. He was also very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond when he helped us recover our lost luggage. Willie was our driver and he was a hero driving through Cairo traffic. The second part of our trip our guide was Honey. He had a great sense of humor and kept us on schedule. We learned so much from him. He was kind and even helped me when i needed to go to a pharmacy to get medicine. Aymed helped us to survive the Cairo airport. Me and my husband booked a 9 days tour , those were the most beautiful days in our life. Everything worked as planned and even we did some extra plans. An amazing tour in egypt(alexandria /1 day, cairo/2 days, luxor 3 days & aswan 2 days)full of historical places to visit with very professional and  educated guides( best of the best Mr. Ahmad al sayed & Mr. Hisham hamad ) .
