Luxor and Aswan Travel — Local services in Luxor City

I have nothing but words of thanks for Luxor & Aswan Travel. I’ve reached them through TripAdvisor and although they have excellent reviews they make a great effort to exceeding your expectations. From the beginning, Hany answered my questions very quickly, even when I had to change all the dates to the following month. He managed to get the boat that I expected and was available at all times for my consultations (when I say at all times I mean really 24 hours).

When I found them, I had already booked excursions to Alexandria, Cairo and Abu Simbel. The experience with the other agencies had no comparison with Luxor & Aswan Travel.

Even though we arrived a few days before what was planned to make the trip to Abu Simbel with another agency, they picked us up at the airport because they assured us that it was part of their services.

But here starts the good part, the people with whom we made the trip to Abu Simbel changed our plans and guides, they did not confirm the pick-up time (which was at 3 am) and before our concern Mr Mahmoud told us that now we were HIS guests and we should not worry about anything. He asked for the number of the other guides and in 10 minutes he made the corresponding calls and he made sure that everything was in order for us.

The value of this gesture when you are in an unknown country is INCREDIBLE.

When we arrived at the hotel they told us that a few days ago he phoned to make sure everything was perfect.

The day that the cruise began we were picked up at the scheduled time, in a very modern car, we were given two Egyptian SIM Cards so that we could communicate, and they took care of many other highly valued details. That day we met Yasser Kamar, our new guide.

Yasser was everything we expected and more! With a lot of knowledge about the history of Egypt and the Egyptian general culture. By being tremendously didactic made everything very easy to learn. Yasser transmits the love he feels for all the Egyptian historical heritage and immerses you in that pharaonic world. As if all this was not enough, on the days we spent with him, we had the pleasure of knowing him as the most excellent person he is. The trip could not be better. I have hired three agencies in Egypt and after commenting with other cruise passengers about their agencies, I can assure, being always very critical, that Luxor & Aswan Travel is everything one expects and more. Their services exceed expectations, no detail will be left to chance. And they will make your stay there into the best days...

Time of our Lives!! I want to share this review to tell others just how exceptional Luxor and Aswan Travel truly is. First they are experts in logistics. at no point in our 21 day adventure did we wait or want for anything. We used them on 2 different adventures. First the tour of the Giza Plateau with a Saggara add-on, and a 5 day 4 night cruise down the Nile.

The first adventure Mohammed picked us up at our hotel in a limo van. We spent the day together. He was exceptional knowledgable as well as kind and accommodating to our schedule. We had a big day culminating in a delicious dinner and show. We were pleased with the level of service and the professionalism of our guide.

The next adventure was even more exceptional. We were generously upgraded by the company owner (Hany) This next level of service came with a dedicated Egyptologist named Hassan who was assigned to us for the 5 days. I can't say enough about how exceptional Hassan was. He made every moment special. His knowledge was unmatched. The was never a moment that we waited for transportation.We even booked a trip to the garden island in Aswan. No sooner did we exit the ship was a boat waiting for us to take us to the Island. We felt that we made a lifetime friend. The company are EXPERTS in logistics and customer service. There is so much positive to say about their process, their employees, and their communication, but I'd be rambling at this point.

The final thought I want to leave readers is that this is the most professional tour company in Egypt. We felt safe and a lot of love from the Egyptian people. Now is the time to travel to Egypt. Thanks again to Hany and Luxor Aswan Travel for making our vacation the best ever. We hope to...

Exceptional. For any Australians reading this review, I thoroughly recommend that you contact Hany before booking with a local company in Oz. From being greeted at Cario to being dropped off at Amman airport in Jordan. It was flawless.

Having booked pre covid and having to postpone till now, Luxor and Aswan Travel have been exceptional. We booked a trip taking us and 2 friends through Egypt and Jordan Hany gave us our our itinerary, which we modified slightly with no problem at all. We visited most of the sights in both countries with expert guides Hoda in cario and Hassan between Luxor and Aswan ( nile cruise )both experts in their knowledge of all things Egyptian. We were greeted at Amman by our driver Amin and slightly later by our guide Mohamed, who were both excellent. Both guided us through Jordan, from North to south as far as Wadi Rum. The whole trip went flawlessly, Hany was frequently in contact to check all was ok and if we needed and further assistance.

Hany thanks to you, and to all your staff, guides drivers etc who made this trip such a pleasure not only for us but our 2 friends that travelled with us.
