Day trip to Magic island and snorkeling. We booked the day trip from Zidane who approached us on the beach on our first full day at Jasmine Palace Resort. There office is on the far left of the beach, passed the 'I love Jasmine swings', when you have the sea in front of you. As we were not carrying cash and Zidane was without a card machine, we agreed to book then and pay after lunch. We had already booked a trip to Luxor by Bus and the ATV desert ride in advance of our arrival with Viator, and decided, based on the pictures in the photo book to book the snorkeling. A great decision. On the day, we went to the Diving centre at the time on the ticket. We collected snorkels and fins included in the price. Once all guests had been fitted out we headed to the boat. We all sat on the top deck while the crew completed the loading of the oxygen canisters for those diving and our lunch, also included in the price. There was no music on the boat, which meant we had a tranquil journey to the reef in which we could hear ourselves talk and get to know our fellow passengers, all fr the hotel, if we wanted too. The variety of the fish at the reef was amazing. It was easy to see why the red sea has such a great reputation for diving and snorkeling. We were fortunate that a Dolphin was spotted by the crew and we were encouraged to get back in the sea. Wonderful the Dolphin came right up to us and appeared to be enjoying as much as we were. One of the crew is an underwater photographer and diver who took photos as we snorkeled as well as when we on the boat, however he never felt intrusive. And added to the overall experience. After snorkeling and diving we sailed on to Magawish also known as Magic island.here there are lots of photo opportunities, especially for couples in the form of large swings, one of which is in the sea. There is sufficient cover for everyone and an amazing bar - the Magawish Bar. The fresh Mango was amazing. Unfortunately for us our card was rejected on the machine, though funds were available. This was an issue for us as the Mango drink had already been prepared. One of our crew, Ethab was sitting at the bar in the shade. Without prompt Ethab offered to pay cash on our behalf, which we agreed to repay back at yhe shore. A simple act of kindness goes a long way 🙂. Ethab had also helped immensely with one of our party who was struggling with her mask and pointed out the different fish as she snorkeled. A wonderful excursion highly recommended. We purchased the underwater photography, completing the transaction back at the diving centre, and reimbursing Ethab. The food for lunch on the boat was lovely and having access to unlimited water and sof drinks meant we all kept hydrated. Thank you to all of the crew of the Shakira for an amazing day.

Well, the story of me and water started quite dramatically... as I was drowning as a child and unfortunately developed a fobia of deep water. Saying that I was determined to see the magnificent world of the coral reefs... so this year, on my holiday in Egypt I booked a diving experience with Red Star Diving Centre.. And off we went.. Before my turn to jump into water, I decided to just go snorkeling around the boat and I was so terrified, that I kept holding on to the rope that kept our boat in place...when it got to my turn to dive, I though to quit like a 1000 times whiles guys where putting all the equipment on me.. 'now it's the time to jump into water' they said and my heart sunk, but I pushed myself and jumped in. My heart was racing now and I started hyperventilating.. in the darkest moment when I thought I'll have to jump back on the boat and give in to my fear... I heard the words of my diving instructor. He grabbed my hand, looked into my eyes and said 'relax'...there was an immediate 'trust bond' forming from what I thought would be the worst experience of my life. He held my hand and I decided to go for it, to dive for the first time in my life... Without the instructor from the Red Star, I wouldn't be able to dive that day. Thanks to him i calmed down and had one of the most amazing moments of my life...the next day we went tortoise diving and from a terrified girl who wouldn't let go of the rope, I dived 12m deep and touched one of the most magnificent animals I've seen - a giant tortoise! Red Star diving not only gave me magnificent memories I'll treasure but they have changed my life! I've spend the rest of my holiday snorkeling in deep waters without fear :)

Wow! What an incredible experience with the diving and water excursions organized by this office. From start to finish, the team provided top-notch service, making our adventure unforgettable. The diving instructor were not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient, ensuring that even beginners felt at ease exploring the breathtaking underwater world. The attention to safety was evident, and the equipment provided was top-of-the-line.

The water excursions were equally impressive – from boat trips to diving, every detail was carefully planned. The staff's knowledge of the local marine life and history added an educational element to the tours, making them both enjoyable and informative. The stunning coral reefs and crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea exceeded our expectations.

What sets this office apart is its commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our preferences and ensure we had the best possible experience. Everyone involved's friendly and professional demeanor created a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

If you're looking for an adventure-packed, well-organized, and safe diving or water excursion in Hurgada, look no further! I can't recommend this office enough – they truly know how to turn a vacation into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Thank you for the memories that will...
