Antonio — Restaurant in Red Sea

In early June 2022, I was for the first time in Egypt, in Hurghada, where I was staying at The Titanic Palace Hotel. After visiting several restaurants, I chose to dine at Antonio Restaurant, a very pleasant place, with the right ambient music, with fresh, diverse and tasty food. But all these is worthless without quality service. After a day in which I stayed longer in the room, becouse I was not feeling well (I took a pill, after which I recovered, my appetite returned and I wanted to eat olives), at the dinner, after checking the products on display, I asked a waiter named HAMDY if he could bring me some olives. I don’t know if the waiter is right. After checking, he brought me a bowl full of olives. The next few days I followed Hamdy and noticed that he is a professional guy, more serious than the others, who does not stop complimenting the touriste, always concerned to put his head to the contribution to come to the aid of customers, to improve the restaurant serving process. People like Hamdy are rare, but when you meet them, your hopes for future experiences increase. Thus thanks to the meals served at The Antonio Restaurant, I was left with a very pleasant impression of Egypt, the country where I will definitely return in one of the coolest mothes of the year. Service muss man leider zwei Sterne abziehen, es vergeht keine Minute wo man nicht vom männlichen Personal um Geld angeschnorrt wird, wenn man dann keines hergibt wird der Tisch während dem Essen holen abgeräumt, eine Frechheit. Man gibt gerne Trinkgeld nur jeden Tag jedem Kellner zwei Euro geben ist zu viel. Beim Essen muss man die freundlichen Pasta und Omelette Köche besonders loben, immer freundlich schnell und leckeres Essen. Cocktail bei der Cäsar Bar sind lecker nur ein Kellner der das mischt was er will egal das man ohne Alkohol bestellt wird einfach mit Alkohol gemacht. Naja man kann wo anders auch...

Es ist - erwartbar für eine Ferienanlage - immer viel los. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm, die Mitarbeiter aber trotz anhaltend viel Arbeit immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, v.a. sehr Kinderlieb. Nicht gut finde ich, dass drinne Vögel fliegen und dass Gläser und Tassen schlecht abgewaschen sind und unangenehm riechen. Das war bisher alle Tage so. Die Speisen selbst sind okay - der Versuch es der v.a. Mittel- und Osteuropäischen Kundschaft Recht zu machen ist gut gelungen. Die einheimische Kost wird angeboten, ist aber für mich doch sehr...
