Ichigo Ichie — Local services in Nice

As a matcha connoisseur, I was pleasantly surprised to find a place like this in Nice. Lots of flavors available, but I went with the cold whisked w/ oat milk in order to see if it was quality matcha - I was not disappointed. Flavor profile was on the lighter side, but then again I like to do 4-6 grams for matcha that I make at home.

I was also pleased to see some matcha tins available for sale and picked one up (Morihan Hatsumukashi).

This amazing little Japanese spot just opened recently, and as soon as we saw it, we knew we had to stop by—and we weren’t disappointed. Ordered the matcha ice cream on a really hot day. The first one they brought out was already melting and looked quite deformed, maybe due to the heat? The staff was really nice and replaced it, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the ice cream didn’t taste like matcha at all.
