La Grenade — Local services in Nice

My friend and I were visiting France and we found this place on Google Maps. The waitress was so kind to us and spoke English which was awesome because we don't know French. She made sure to make sure our order was correct by repeating it. She also answered all our questions about what something was on the menu. I have never tried Armenian food but it was amazing. My friend and I shared the grilled chicken kabob and the Armenian meat balls. My french fries with my chicken were well-seasoned, crispy and delicious. The chicken had a nice grill and my friend's meatballs were delicious. The service and the food was perfect. Had a long and relaxing lunch here a few weeks ago with friends. Chose classical Armenian dishes: dolma, lahmajun, basturma+sujukh, eggplant wrapped cheese, armenian eggplant caviar (veggie dish), and their best wine.

As someone whose grandmother was an Armenian cook, I can say that this is top notch authentic classical Armenian cuisine from Armenia. In addition to Armenian dishes, they also have dishes from neighboring cuisines, e.g., Georgian vareniky, blintsi from Eastern Slavik cuisine, and more.

This is undoubtedly a gem of a restaurant in the Musicien neighborhood, near the Nice Ville train station, and I recommend all foodies to have at least one meal here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Restaurant La Grenade and I must say it was an incredible experience.
