Baba Döner — Local services in Berlin

Other reviews are amazing, so maybe I was just unlucky but I visited twice and both times the food was not very good. This place is new so they might be just learning, I will give them another go in a couple of months and refresh my review. Both people who were working there were very friendly.

The first time both my wife and me had a falafel in brot and they were just not good. The falafel in brot was very wet for some reason, I had a feeling that they grabbed too much liquid from the rotkohl or something. We both didnt finish the whole thing. The person was also very slow and burned the first portion of bread that he was heating up, so he had to heat another.

Today I went again and it was again extremely slow although this time it was a different person working. I ordered a döner kebab in brot and the brear was again burned and very crunchy. The kebab in general did not taste very good and it was very badly mixed...

I was in Lichterfelde to discover the place and I've seen in internet as advice"Baba Döner". I usually try and give a rate to every Döner Laden but I must say these brothers deserve 5 Stars from me. They did a super delicious Döner with special sauces for us. Everything was fresh and serviced with a love and the end ofcourse "ohne Çay geht nicht 😊". Ich habe bereits zwei Mal zuvor dort gegessen und mir „viel Soße“ für meinen Döner gewünscht, leider wurde nicht auf meinen Wunsch eingegangen. Aus diesem Grund hatte ich mich heute aus der Not heraus entschieden (Zeitdruck, fehlendes Angebot in der Umgebung und riesiger Hunger), dort zwei Currywürste mit gebratenen Zwiebeln und Pommes zu bestellen. Vor mir in der Schlange standen drei Jungs und ich möchte dem Herrn, der heute dort gearbeitet hat, nicht vorwerfen, dass er mit Absicht so gehandelt hat, aber alle drei Kids haben zu wenig Rückgeld bekommen und es handelte sich dabei um jeweils mindestens fünf Euro! Zu mir: Ich habe insgesamt etwas mehr als eine halbe Stunde auf mein Essen gewartet, obwohl nicht viel los war. Als ich ihm sagte, dass ich bereits eine halbe Stunde warten würde und das sicher kein Fast Food sei, fing er an, sich zu „beeilen“. Aufgrund meiner Bitte, dass ich gerne viel Mayo auf den Pommes hätte, wurden die Würste komplett ohne Soße eingepackt. Ich wies ihn darauf hin und danach auch noch einmal extra auf das fehlende Curry auf den Currywürsten. Ich musste ihm dann noch ausrechnen, wie viel Rückgeld ich wiederbekomme. Am besten einen Taschenrechner besorgen und die Preisliste im Häuschen zur Hand + Anleitung der einzelnen Gerichte. Die gebratenen Zwiebeln sind übrigens Röstzwiebeln. Nie...
