Fischwelt — Local services in Berlin

I recently visited Fischwelt and was blown away by the freshness and variety of their fish products. The fish looked like it had just been caught and was of the highest quality. The store had a wide variety of fish to choose from, including both local and international species. I was particularly impressed with their selection of seafood, such as crab, shrimp, and lobster, which looked especially fresh and tempting.

In addition to the great selection, the staff at Fischwelt were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were happy to answer my questions and offer advice on different types of fish and seafood. I had fried fried whiting fish. It was one of the best prepared fish i had in Berlin. First it was very fresh, second it was cooked right to the point, without drying. I think the way it is served in the plate should still be rethought, by placing less stuff with higher quality (ketchup, mayo, fries and salat are just too much). I just bought a net of venusmuscheln for €19.99 and they were not edible. They smelled so bad in the bag once I arrived home, and half of them were smashed/broken - had to throw them because it was unsafe to eat. Shellfish should not smell that strongly of fish.
