A small and inexpensive museum - tickets are €5 for adults. I really enjoyed the Friedrich Kunath exhibit on the upper level, while the video installations I found to be somewhat less interesting. The museum is contained within an early 20th century building which used to be a brewery. Most of the actual brewery artifacts can be seen in the museum cafe, which is quite cozy. I’m not a big fan of vegan food in general, so I only had their soup, but it was actually decent. All in all, a nice way to spend a few hours, if you’re in the Rathaus...

Usually friendly and knowledgeable staff, who will explain the exhibits and answer your questions. Museum consist of two separate exhibition buildings, nice variety of modern art. The interior of the cafe is worth a visit but itself. It offers a small selection of sandwiches, musli, cakes and soup with options for vegans. Coffee is good, soy, lactose free milk etc...

Absolute must visit! The space itself is quite unique, but also their excibitions are well-curated. On the top floors you can enjoy the view of the TV tower, but don’t be like me and don’t forget to visit the brewery part with the kettles - the most iconic image of this place, and have a beer or a snack yourself. In the warm seasons, there’s a nice biergarten just outside.

I discovered two great artists in this center. The exhibition was small but interesting with different spaces that allow for different installations with sound, light, or high volume sculptures. After your visit, have a glass of wine at the cafe, an old converted brewery, or eat there. Chill atmosphere and low prices.
