CHEATING and the WORST service made us never return. BE VERY CAREFUL!!! REMEMBER to CHECK BILLS. We arrived at 18:30, and order immediately for drinks and one pizza and an Appetizer. Second order at 18:45 for 2 pasta and 1 more pizza. Waiting for 30 mins already still didn’t come so we asked the waiter (chubby, short hair, no beard). He said, “5 mins”. At the end we waited for 55 MINS still NOTHING came. So we asked to cancel them, by 20:00 kids need to sleep. The waiter gave us the bill and he CHARGED us everything!!!!! We said why charged all even the dishes were not on table?!!! He said, “you ordered it YOU MUST PAY FOR THEM EVEN THEY ARE NOT ON YOUR TABLE. You don’t like it you can go to other restaurants!!!!!” At the end we talked to the boss (Grey short hair) at the entrance and he deducted the non-cooked dishes. Wir hatten als Vorspeise frittierte Oliven und Reis-Tomaten-Häppchen – beides sehr trocken. Ein Dip, etwa in Richtung Agliata oder etwas Vergleichbares, hätte den Appetizer deutlich abgerundet. Leider wurde alles kommentarlos ohne Beilagen serviert.

Die Pizza Diavolo war solide, die Spaghetti Vongole dagegen eine Enttäuschung: so geschmacksarm, dass sie auch problemlos als Diätessen in einem Krankenhaus durchgehen würden.

Der eigentliche Grund für diese – entgegen unserer Gewohnheit – negative Bewertung ist jedoch der Umgang mit dem Thema Zahlung: In diesem Restaurant wird ausschließlich Bargeld akzeptiert – ohne jegliche Vorabinformation, weder am Eingang noch auf der Speisekarte. Als wir um die Rechnung baten und die Bezahlung mit Karte wünschten, kam nur ein lapidares: „Bei uns nur bar.“ Auf meine Nachfrage, ob z. B. PayPal möglich sei, folgte: „Bei uns ist seit 22 Jahren nur Bargeld möglich.“

Das wirkt nicht nur aus der Zeit gefallen, sondern schlicht kundenunfreundlich. Ich musste also zum nächsten Geldautomaten laufen, um die Rechnung zu begleichen – und habe für mich beschlossen, diesem Lokal künftig keine Chance mehr zu geben.

Dabei gibt es in unmittelbarer Umgebung hervorragende Alternativen. Etwa an der Schleißheimer Straße, wo wir regelmäßig bei Blu Notte essen. Dort kocht Pino leidenschaftlich, das Essen ist hervorragend – und wir können ganz selbstverständlich mit Karte bezahlen, ohne dass der Abend mit schlechter Laune endet.

I was very disappointed. Having moved back to Munich recently, I was eager to come back to this place, which was great in the past. However, the service was terrible, and the pizza wasn't great either. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive, and then the pizza was undercooked and cold. We had empty drink glasses most of the time we were there, and nobody asked whether we wanted another drink. We had to wait ages for our bill to arrive at the end. Not sure we will...
