I was really excited to try this foot bath after running about an hour and with my coffee in hand, but found this man, completely hogging the bath. When I asked when he would be finished he rudely said ‘any day’ and ‘until 10pm at night’ , despite seeing me waiting in the cold. It’s just a shame that people can be selfish like this and ruin the experience for others. Most people just use it for feet and make room for others if there was someone wants to use it also, whereas he kept suggesting I still squeezed in despite no space and made me uncomfortable and came across a bit pervy.

Nice hot foot bath where you can meet and have a chat with random people. Relaxing and refreshing :)

Such a peaceful little spot! Kvika Foot Bath might be one of the smallest hot springs in Iceland, but it’s definitely worth the visit. Located right by the ocean near Grotta Lighthouse in Seltjarnarnes, the views are stunning — especially at sunset. The water is warm and relaxing, perfect after a walk along the coast. It’s a unique blend of art and nature, and a great place to pause and take it all in. Highly recommend making the short trip from Reykjavik!

The lovely little foot pool is along a nice walking track that is currently under renovation. I found it was just the right temperature, almost a little too warm. Be careful on the slippery rocks! The pool is right next to the boarded up shack, where they're actually drying fish in, so it smells (pleasantly) fishy here. Great views over the bay and the city. The footbath has gotten so popular, you'll rarely have it for yourself on a nice...
